Our snow turned to sleet then rain at around lunchtime. Mr F works in the north of the county so saw a little more but too wet to lay down more than a dusting really.

Have fun spending the M&S voucher😊I was wondering if you had had snow. We have had soggy ran all day and it's really grey and miserable. My clinic room doesn't have any windows though so I have been bathed in artificial light all day 😀Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1200

It’s still pouring with rain now. The snow was a flash in the pan and wasn’t able to settle as it’s been so wet. What a miserable day though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Happy Friday 😁
In the office today and meeting some work friends for lunch, only in the work on site cafe but it will be lovely to catch up.
It's loads warmer today than yesterday! It was a bit drizzly on my walk to work but not bad enough to put up a brolly.
Exercise is walking to/from work and that will be it today, will be over 16,000 steps.
Money - DD has paid her board so that's gone straight to the holiday pot. Already have enough stashed in there to pay the balance this month and for the spending money. It won't be a NSD as buying lunch from the work cafe. The water rates bill arrived yesterday and that's gone up by £9 a month, it's the time of year when they all start sneaking the bills up, council tax will be the next one.
Tonight's dinner will be making a curry out of whatever bits need using up in the fridge.
I need to nip into Lid! on the way home for bread and bread rolls. Will also pop into MnS to see if there's anything I fancy spending my voucher on, there's no rush though.
Looking forward to putting my feet up with a glass of red wine tonight.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
£9 more a month for water!!! Thought it was supposed to go up 6% on average!?Has your usage increased over the last 6 months? If you can’t pin point it I’d be having a look for toilet leaks - you can get those usually free from your supplier - or just use a bit of loo roll above the toilet water line. If it gets wet/washed away before next flush then you probably have a leak which is very cheap to fix usually.

We’re not on a meter and pay the bill in 8 instalments so £9 more a month but only for 8 months.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

My non-metered water has gone up by over 11%. Sarcy comment coming up. It is a pity they couldn't keep their increase in pollution down to only 11%.

Wow that's a massive rise for the water rates. But that would be about 6% if ours goes up that much, so I beast brace myself....lol.Making the debt go down and savings go up
