Mornin SA - just wondered how much you pay the wheelie bin wash and how often they do it?

we have a local chap who wants £2 per bin per month. I’ve always just done it myself when the weather permits - it is a grotty job though and I’d love not to do it!! 😬😬

nice one on the 9 hour sleep - if I didn’t have to set alarms I’d naturally sleep for 9hrs straight x

(1st time I wrote that it said ‘sleep for 9mths straight 🤣)

We pay £3 every 4 weeks for the general waste bin. It was £2.50 for years and has only just recently gone up. We don’t have the recycling one done, I wash that one out occasionally. I think £2 is very reasonable indeed.

My wheely bin is grim as anything but it doesn't offend me enough that I can be bothered to throw money at changing that! It would only end up grim again pretty soon anyway as it gets most of the ash from the fire in it.

£5 every 4 weeks here & I don't begrudge a single penny of it!

Had a lovely surprise this afternoon. My line manager has sent me a gift voucher for M&S to thank me for my hard work 😊 This nicely coincides with me receiving a 15% off voucher from M&S today. Guess where I'm going after work tomorrow 🤣

What a miserable dark day it's been. Thankfully only flurries of snow and far too wet to settle as it's done nothing but rain in between. Still haven't managed to get out with the dog although I don't think she's that bothered she doesn't like going out in the rain.
