Morning happy hump day.
In the office today and it’s going to be a busy one as I’m at an event I organised. I’ve got external visitors coming and will have to escort them everywhere even the toilet! Security is super strict here.Picked up my free coffee courtesy of 🐙 so enjoying that before it all kicks off.See you later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

Thank goodness that's done!
It was a successful event but oh my days the security guards! I'd agreed with their boss weeks ago that the visitors could pull up in the loading bay to unload but this information didn't seem to have filtered down the chain! The visitors couldn't believe how many hoops they had to jump through and how many security doors I had to swipe them through just to get into the event area. And I've never known people go to the loo so much, it was like when I'm constantly letting my cats in and out of the door 😆
What with the constant to-ing and fro-ing and walking to/from work I've done over 22,000 steps already and I still have a Zumba class to do later.
Managed to pick a few freebies up from the event pens, trolley coin, notepads and some biscuits. So what with the free coffee this morning it's been a freebie kind of day.
Also NSD4, I couldn't face stopping off at Lid! on the way home. We are starting to need a few things so decided to put through a small Mr M delivery for tomorrow lunchtime. Although I keep thinking if the weather is as bad as it's forecast tomorrow I might regret not stopping off a Lid! if Mr M have to cancel. It is what it is.
Tonight's dinner is something quick and easy - scampi, wedges and salad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Glad the event went well, well done. And nothing like free work biscuits!
Maybe next time you need a designated guest portaloo, with trained assassins pointing lasered guns at it at all times2 -

It sounds very awe-inspiring! Well done for pulling it all together - and keeping your head.

Morning all, almost the weekend again. This week has flown by.
WFH today thank goodness. My legs are still aching from yesterday. I slept like a log last night from just after 9pm until 6am.
Snow was forecast for today but it's raining instead. According to my weather app it's going to snow this morning then rain again this afternoon. We shall see.
Love your idea @PennysIntoPounds 🤣 It's a wonder they don't. The security guards always stand there stony faced trying not to make eye contact so I make a point of smiling and greeting them when I walk past, I'm determined to make them crack a smile 😆
Exercise: dog walking later this morning, upper body strength training at lunchtime and body conditioning after work.
Dinner: tofu and stir fried vegetables. Need to dig out one of my recipes for a sauce to go with it.
Must do: take the coffee pods to be recycled. Now have two bags full of aluminium pods and started on a third.
Housework: clean the bathroom, vacuum upstairs, ironing.
Money: small Mr M delivery arriving at lunchtime, pay for the wheelie bin wash.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
