Glad you had a nice day but boo to the phone calls. Good idea to ignore them after a while. Reminds me of my mother in law in latter years of her life when suffering with dementia she would telephone repeatedly to tell us the same thing over and over. We let the answer machine pick up one day after the 28th call from her and she went into a panic as she said some strange lady told her we weren’t available to take her call and she thought we had moved without telling her. 🤦♀️I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. Happy Saturday 🥂
I’ve had a busy day but almost done now.Did my live ClubFit class this morning followed by a trip to Mr T with Mr SA and the dog. It’s a fair distance so the dog gets a good walk and I get my steps in. Stopped off at the park on the way back so the dog could chase after her ball for a bit. After lunch I cleaned the whole house and steam mopped the floors.Just need to make my roast cauliflower and lentil gunpowder curry now. I managed to get a decent sized cauliflower from Lid! earlier in the week.Mr M delivery coming between 8 and 9 so mustn’t nod off 😆 Hopefully it will come nearer 8 than 9. Definitely worth putting myself out a bit to get £15 off though. Must remember this is in lieu of a delivery on Tuesday.Prosecco is in the fridge for later.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I've said it before but your one day's worth of activity is equivalent to a week of mine!
Enjoy your very well earned prosecco 🥂3 -
Do you think Mr S A is suffering from acute anxiety? Phones when your not there, falls because he is concentrating on you being available?2

The Mr M order arrived at 8.30. Mr SA volunteered to answer the door, don’t faint. There were only a few bags, I didn’t order that much mainly heavy stuff. The fresh things can be picked up as and when next week.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I’ve had a really productive day today. Emptied everything out of the under stairs cupboard of doom as it was driving me mad. There’s so much stuff in there 😩 The sort of stuff that really should be in the loft like boxes and boxes of Christmas decorations. Maybe time to get a proper loft ladder fitted and store it out of the way. The loft is partly boarded out, goodness knows what rubbish is up there, certainly my very extensive vinyl collection plus no doubt several Christmas trees. There was a whole box full of DVDs, a Wii and games in the cupboard. All not touched for years. Thinking about taking the lot to the charity shop, I certainly don’t want it back in the cupboard.Anyway it’s a lot tidier now if nothing else. Had to keep stopping Mr SA from rummaging through the stuff wanting to keep things we don’t need.Took the dog on the park for a run with her ball afterwards.NSD 2 of February today.Made a batch of tomato, lentil and red pepper soup for work lunches from the new Two Chubby Cubs cookbook. Also a vegan shepherd’s pie - a Mary McCartney recipe from Saturday Kitchen. Will share the recipe if it’s tasty. That’s for tonight’s dinner with the remaining portions destined for the freezer.Finished reading my latest book - Fool me Once by Harlan Coben - now I’ve read the book we can recommence watching the Netflix series 😆 We watched the first episode but I wanted to finish the book before we watched the rest. Can’t believe it’s back to the grindstone again tomorrow 🙁 A full week as well although I always finish early on Fridays.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
