Glad you had a lovely day SA. I assume that the issue with the phone calls is that there is no point in asking him not to call unless it’s important because he doesn’t have a “normal” grasp of what is important?
In his eyes he’s the most important thing! The 4 missed calls today were to tell me he’d had a letter from Motability to say his scooter contract runs out in April and it’s time to start thinking about a replacement. Now that could’ve waited until I got home.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)
  • Glad you managed to escape and have a lovely day 😊

  • Glad you had a nice day but boo to the phone calls. Good idea to ignore them after a while. Reminds me of my mother in law in latter years of her life when suffering with dementia she would telephone repeatedly to tell us the same thing over and over. We let the answer machine pick up one day after the 28th call from her and she went into a panic as she said some strange lady told her we weren’t available to take her call and she thought we had moved without telling her. 🤦‍♀️
