Sounds like a lovely day 👍

  • Sounds like a lovely day. You've mentioned Mr SA calling you at work before, does he do this every time?

Glad you had some you time.

You can do anything if you put your mind to it. x
  • Lunch sounds gorgeous, and nice to be able to support an independent boutique.
Will you be keeping Mr SA's sweatshirt for his birthday gift? Well done on ignoring the calls after the initial one, it's a horrible feeling but a necessary thing, both for your mental health and for remaining vaguely professional at work if he wants the bills to keep getting paid x

Well done on getting your day out. It is so good to have a change of scenery. I thought your trip might have been to our market town until you mentioned the big Mr S, as we definitely don't have one of those!
Good idea to ignore the extra calls, knowing Mr SA wasn't on his own. Quick thinking on the coffee shop noise!

Actually I considered it but the bus no longer goes direct from where I live so it would be two buses or go into the city centre and get the train. This market town is only small more like a high street with a few market stalls.

Yes the first call is always when he gets up and then around lunchtime they ramp up. It drives me nuts!

It wasn’t expensive so I’ve let him have it now. He’s really pleased with it. We’ll be in Lanzarote for his birthday so he will no doubt be on the hunt for a new man bag or whatever his latest pester is 😐

  • Glad you had a lovely day SA. I assume that the issue with the phone calls is that there is no point in asking him not to call unless it’s important because he doesn’t have a “normal” grasp of what is important?
