Happy February. I don’t like to plan too far ahead…..I’m much more a day or so at a time. I’ve had to cancel so many things because of mine or family illness. It really makes me nervous if I have too many things planned, as if I’m tempting fate. That’s why we originally had a caravan so we could just take off when everyone was fit and healthy 👍

Well done on getting your day out. It is so good to have a change of scenery. I thought your trip might have been to our market town until you mentioned the big Mr S, as we definitely don't have one of those!
Good idea to ignore the extra calls, knowing Mr SA wasn't on his own. Quick thinking on the coffee shop noise!

I sympathise with your bus woes. It is often other traffic, road works etc that hold up the buses not to mention passengers that stand and chat to the drivers as they are getting on and off.
It's when they don't run at all it irritates me even when I know there is a shortage of drivers partly due due to the pay and partly due to the way the company treats them. I don't understand why train drivers are paid so much more than bus drivers who have to deal with traffic, road works, people, money etc.
