Hope you manage to have a relaxing weekend SA. I used to think as we got older, life got easier. Sadly that’s not the case and definitely not in your case. You never know what’s around the corner, would love to start some hearing good news for a change.xx:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

Wonderful work on the step count! Do you watch Inside No 9? Wondering if that might be a subconscious factor about being on the 9th floor 😁
Glad you had a day away and a bath and have wine to enjoy.
So I feel a bit s*** bringing this up but I'd feel like a rubbish mate if I didn't.. you saying
'makes him careless to the point where he’s hoping he falls'
is kind of pretty much the same as him doing it deliberately to keep you from doing anything not immediately related to him... please raise this with (as we know, largely useless!) authorities because it is not safe for him and it is not fair or reasonable or in any way okay for you9 -
Hope your weekend is uneventful 👍January spends - £587.581

My sentiments exactly @PennysIntoPounds, you’ve hit the nail right on the head.Had a really good night’s sleep, I think I’m still catching up from Sunday/Monday.First job of the day was to clean up cat sick - lovely 😐 Why are cats always being sick!Took the dog for a run on the park although she didn’t have her best experience as she was hassled by bigger dogs. It was really busy. Then just went to the local shops for a paper and a couple of other bits from the small Mr T. Spent well under £5. Stopped off at the DIY store that sells everything you could possibly want DIY wise for something to fix the bathroom sink plug hole but as I suspected I need to replace the whole waste unit. The family who run this shop are extremely knowledgeable and helpful. It’s the sort of old fashioned place you could buy just one screw from if that’s all you wanted. I believe replacing the whole waste unit is relatively simple but need to U Tube it again to be certain. Otherwise I need to find a handyman.DS and the GKs visited this afternoon. DGD cadged a couple of my lip balms for her skincare collection, she’s obsessed with skincare - she’s 9!Tonight’s dinner is pizza, wedges and salad. I have Prosecco chilling in the fridge for later 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Sounds like a good day, just what you need.
I love DIY shops like that. We used to have one in our village but one day it just suddenly closed and no one knows why. That was over a year ago and the stock is still in there, and as far as I know no one has set foot in there since it closed. I did see a notice from the council on the door the other day, but didn't stop to read. Must have a look, its just another empty shop in the village and we have too many of those. Most of them close and then re-open as hairdressers or takeaways....lol
Enjoy your evening. I've ear marked BBC1 tonight for the West end musicals thing. Love a bit of Alfie Boe

I think I’d be mentioning to Mr SA that if the falls continue, a care home will probably be the best place for him to live.Sending hugs to you SA xIf Plan A fails, remember there are 25 more letters2
