That’s Monday done. All fine thank you for asking. Just been super busy at work all day and didn’t get home until 5 then got straight in the bath. I didn’t even get a proper lunch break today. So no Sunday shenanigans last night thank goodness. The final payment for the windows/door went out today 🥳 Was on 3 years interest free credit. So that’s £155 a month freed up. All that’s left to pay now is the mortgage and that’s well under £8k.Exercise has been walking to/from work slightly short of 20,000 steps. Popped into Lid! on the way home to pick up the free condiment and some bread rolls.Tonight’s dinner is the final portion of vegan roast from the freezer with roast swede and carrot plus steamed broccoli, sugar snap peas and baby corn. I do love plenty of veg 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Forgot to say I have been randomly awarded 3 days free super Duolingo which is typical that it comes at a time when I’m really busy. It’s only Monday and I’m ready for my day off on Friday already 😆 I’m telling Mr SA I’m going to work and going for a potter round the shops in a local market town. Not for anything in particular just to potter round and stop off for a coffee. The only rule is no picking up food shopping and ending up lugging heavy bags around which is what I usually end up doing.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Well done on completing the windows payments! I'm waiting for the day when you start your Christmas payments two years in advance.
You are certainly headed that way!
I think Duolingo has an algorithm that can tell when we are going to be far too busy to make use of the three free days. It's done the same to me a couple of times. It also gives me random 15 minutes on double points around midnight when I should be packing up and my brain's had enough. Perhaps it's all a ploy to make us feel we are worth the paid-for version, as we are 'good enough' to get prestigious freebies but can't organise when they come and of course if we paid for them, we'd suddenly have an extra hour in the day, plenty of energy and no loss of focus.
Looking forward to hearing about your Fabulous Friday.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
