Morning all.
WFH today and the Mr M delivery has been and all packed away. The cats are already on breakfast #2, they each eat twice as much as the dog!
Don't you just hate work emails that begin with 'I wonder if you can help me' or 'X gave me your name as someone who might be able to help'. Often tempted to reply with a short 'sorry no' 😆
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, a lunchtime HIIT class and Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is mushroom, pepper and courgette risotto - no surprises what needs using up!

A different way to look at this
I work for a charity and we provide free classes for people with various difficulties, long term conditions, special needs or exclusion due to finances e.g.kids from deprived areas
This is partially funded by paid for classes and we get a new influx every January
Some of them even go on to be regulars
So I quite like the new year, new me thing2 -

Another success story for you SA
You commented on a post I made in another diary
Today my OH got the magic remission word for Non Hodgkin Lymphoma after months of chemo
Not the same kind as your OH and we still need to know if the bone doctor can repair the damage but what a relief xx6 -
@Paspatur - that's great news at anytime of the year!
Egg Wallace (as we affectionally call him) is giving lots of weight loss advice in the daily mail this week - don't snack between meals, eat more vegetables type of tips. I saw a tv ad earlier that said having salad with your burger instead of chips is a healthy thing to do and walking to your local coffee shop for your coffee will help you to .... wait for it .... walk more 🤷♀️.
Belated happy new year by the way.6 -

Where do I start?Nightmare day at work sorting various people out with completely unrelated random requests. I seem to have become a one woman help desk! The things I get asked and am expected to know the answer to. Oh the joys of being a PA!Mr SA had been quite resourceful so I thought and used an empty Pringles tube to wrap around the Christmas lights he took down from the fence in the drive. Thought he had finished off the contents but apparently not as spotted them on the bird table 🫣 So had to clear that up as I’m sure not even the wood pigeons would eat paprika Pringles. They were all soggy from the rain too. Then Mr SA decided he wanted to find his work boots as he’s decided (yet again) he’s going back to roofing. Cue him rummaging around in the cupboard under the stairs, being unable to find them and accusing DS of taking them 😞 No I can’t remember what happened to them it was almost 11 years ago since he last used them!Thank goodness I’m back in the office tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
