Morning all, happy festive Friday 🎄
WFH home today but not a full day, I expect it to be pretty quiet as most people have already finished for Christmas.
I've been to the big Mr T this morning to pick up a few last minute bits including more 15p potatoes, red cabbage, swede, carrots and broccoli. Didn't buy any more parsnips as there's only me eats them and I'm not that fond of them. A few years ago I made a Jamie Oliver parsnip soup recipe that used two whole bags of parsnips - it tasted overwhelmingly of parsnips and put me off them for some time.
Exercise today was walking to/from Mr T 7,000 steps in total, dog walking later and a festive YT workout after work.
I need to sort something out for tonight's dinner, got plenty in to choose from.
I saw this quote this morning that I thought I'd share here as it's particularly apt for this time of year:"There will be a lot of posts soon with people sharing how much they achieved in 2023.
In case someone somewhere needs to hear this, just making it to 2024 is an achievement. It's okay if the most significant thing you did this year is get through it."

Thank you for sharing this quote - it is oh so true for so many people!

Yes, there will be so many people desperately hoping for a fresh start on so many fronts as 2024 dawns. I do agree that sometimes just keeping going is an achievement in itself.

I think we've all had that kind of year. I feel incredibly blessed this year has had a lot of good things.
Sincerely hope those people are proud of themselves for keeping going.September 2017 Debt = £25330
