Made me laugh, SS and SDiL like coming here between Christmas and NY because there is salad as an option rather than a Beige Banquet! My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Well my Xmas has been a bit hectic. Usually buy stuff throughout the year but this year decided to buy it all in December. never again. I’ve been so disorganised over it. Just finished today. Going to the pub for Xmas lunch tomorrow, for the first time. Then having a few family members over on Boxing Day. Like you SA, I’m not going mad, good old normal food will be served. The only problem with party food is one bite and it’s gone. Hope the next few days are relaxing for you SA.x:j Debtfree and and staying that way.:j3-6 month emergency fund, No.61 £140.002

And that’s it they’ve gone home. I can’t believe how many sausage rolls and mini pizzas they consumed! Watched my favourite version of Christmas Carol after they left then had a bath. From now on it will be all about chilling and relaxing until 2 January. It was quite amusing when the GKs opened their Christmas Eve boxes as the dog thought they were for her, opened one of the boxes and made off with a toy 😬 She thinks all presents are for her 😆
Earlier we took the dog for a walk to the local high street as the park was really muddy. It wasn’t very busy at all and most of the shops were closed. So no money has been spent today 🙂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Muppets Christmas Carol is my favourite but I haven't seen it for years.I've got pre rolled puff pastry and sausage meat out ready defrosting for those who live here and get fed veg regularly (so I don't have to eat it!) and as a result absolutely prefer a beige banquet. My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

I love the dog's head piece. Our cat has a Christmas jumper but we can't leave it on for long as it makes her walk as if she has lead weights tied to her feet (goodness knows why, it's not heavy). I hope that you and Mr S_A have a peaceful and happy Christmas.0
