Happy Christmas @Sun_Addict!Nice and peaceful for you while MrSA is having a Christmas Day rest.
I still haven't seen Muppets Christmas Carol. I took my children to see It when it first come out. We were making a day of it with lunch at Pizza Hut and then the cinema (living the dream). Youngest DD who was about 4 or 5 made it through about 2 minutes of the film, burst into tears as she was petrified so I had to wait outside with her for the duration of the film,1 -
Oh I remember doing Pizza Hut followed by the cinema when my kids were little 😆
Your story reminded me of the time we took ours to a circus. As soon as she saw the clowns DD started screaming. Mr SA had to take her out and I stayed with DS. However said clowns came into the audience with feather dusters and made a beeline for me tickling me with them. It was funny at first but seemed to go on forever and the novelty wore off very quickly I’m afraid 😐 Now it’s me who doesn’t like clowns 🤣
I don’t know what it is but whenever I’m at a show where they go into the audience they always choose me 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
My mother would never take me to a circus because she really did not like clowns. My poor DS has never been either because I have always felt the same way & I don't really know why, they just send a funny feeling up my spine.

Happy Boxing Day 🎄
Been up over an hour enjoying the peace and quiet with my book and a coffee. Yesterday was ok, just another day here really but with more cooking. Remember why we often have curry on Christmas Day now. Shame about the rain in the afternoon as it would’ve been nice to have gone for a long walk. I usually make my nut roast from scratch but bought ready made this year, nowhere near as nice. The weather forecast looks better today so should be able to get a good walk with the dog in. I think Joe Wicks is doing a Boxing Day live workout on YT so will join in if he is.Tonight’s dinner is leftover curry from can’t remember which day I made it 🤣It will be the third NSD in a row. Need bread tomorrow though. Can I start counting down to Lanzarote yet 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
I think you can start the countdown now 😃1

So much for a NSD, just ordered the 10 for £10 birthday cards from Whistlefish plus Christmas cards in the sale. So that’s me all sorted cards wise for the coming year.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)
