I can’t believe that’s the weekend done 🥲
I’ve managed to get loads done today. Cashed out £11.07 from surveys so over my target of £10 a week. Did loads of cleaning so all caught up ready for the week ahead.
Very sunny today so pegged two lots of washing out. Almost saw the bottom of the laundry basket until Mr SA restocked it.
The dog had a good run on the park across the road and I litter picked at the same time.Made a butternut squash risotto for tonight’s dinner with plenty left over for tomorrow. Also made 4 portions of butternut squash and spinach soup for work lunches. It was a massive butternut squash 😆
Did a FitOn live yoga core class at 4pm.All the furries have been de-flead. The cats hate it so are sulking. The dog isn’t bothered in the least.
And today was NSD 2 of February.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Morning, happy Monday.
Not the best start to the day/week as I noticed the heating wasn't one when I got up this morning. Further investigation resulted in finding the fuse had tripped in the kitchen so reset that. We now have hot water but no heating. I've spent ages fiddling with settings and the Hive thermostat but it seems as if it's online. I have BG cover so I called them and they are sending someone out tomorrow morning. Had to pay £60 excess. I have a feeling it will be something simple but I've checked the Hive, checked the boiler pressure and reset the boiler so not sure what else I can do. Just typical that it's cold and frosty again.
Thankfully I can WFH and get things sorted although I'll be freezing!

Not the start to the week that you would want especially with the weather. Hopefully the BG person can fix it quickly and you can see what they do in case it ever happens again.Credit card debt - NIL

Did a quick Keep Fit with Rick walking workout to warm myself up a bit and get a few steps in. Going to keep moving about to keep warm. I hate being cold. Might go for a walk at lunchtime as it's such a lovely day, freezing cold though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
Those savings pots are building up nicely. Hope the boiler gets fixed soon. I thought if you had BG cover they sent someone out the same day? Maybe thats changed. We cancelled ours quite a few years back and use a local plumber now. Shame the temperature has dropped this week too.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I hope the heating gets fixed soon and that you've been able to keep warm.
good progress on the savings pots. I always find that having regular savings accounts makes me put the savings amount into my monthly budget as an actual rather than a hoped for amount of savings.
