Meant to add - was thrilled for Ellie as well - proper welled up when she attempted that last lift and it didn’t go her way. Considering she wasn’t a professional dancer in any way she was just superb!Lancashire

Morning all, happy Monday. This time next week it will be Christmas Day 😲
WFH today, I was originally going to take today off but decided not to in the end and just WFH.
When Mr SA and the dog get up we're going to Lid! for the cheap veg and a few other bits. I really must update tomorrow's Mr M order - I have two delivery slots this week tomorrow and Thursday. Thursday's is more for the fresh stuff and anything missing/forgotten from tomorrow's delivery. I notice I need to finalise that one by tomorrow.
Today's exercise is walking to/from Lidl this morning and a festive workout from YT this afternoon.
Tonight's dinner is smoked haddock with leeks, pearl barley and cauliflower, one of my tried and tested favourite recipes.
Also on today's to do list is tidying up, ironing and cleaning the kitchen. Must remember to put out the recycling and glass bins tonight as they're picking up a day early. Also need to do my usual Monday finance check.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

I've been to Lidl this morning, thanks for the tip! They didn't have the prices up yet for the veg, but they all scanned at 15p.01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0

Lid! trip done. Picked up all the 15p veg - potatoes, shallots, swede, parsnips, carrots and sprouts. Got 2 bags of potatoes and shallots. Also bought the final Christmas present - a candy catcher thing for DGS, hopefully he'll like it. Have spent enough for the free loaf - just in time for Christmas 😁 The dog got a good walk on the way back and I loaded up Mr SA's scooter with my haul. Just over 10,000 steps done in one fell swoop as it's a good walk away, almost in the city centre.
For anyone with an air fryer, chef Dean Edwards Cook Smart Air Fryer 90 quick and easy energy saving recipes is 99p on Amazon all this month for the Kindle version. You have to go via Amazon Website rather than the app to get the offer link here.

Mr T veg is 15p too. They've got broccoli and red cabbage included in their deal.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

Ooh thanks for the tip about the air fryer recipes. I will try and get it downloaded.
I was thinking of going to Mr M's tomorrow as its our closest supermarket, and they have veg at 19p if you scan your More card. Will be a lot cheaper than going to the veg man at the garden centre on Saturday, as he is bound to have put up his prices for Christmas, and Mr M veg is normally very fresh. Just not sure it would keep fresh till next Monday. But maybe I could cook the carrots/swede and freeze it once I've mashed it? Anyone every tried that? Will have to read up on par boiling and freezing etc, never tried it before.Making the debt go down and savings go up
