Happy Saturday 🥂

Just having a coffee after doing a ClubFit class then going to the big Mr T. Mr SA and the dog are coming with me so will give the dog a run on the park on the way back. The weather is beautiful today so at least it will be nice to be outside. 

After lunch I’m having gel colour on my nails and eyebrows tinted and waxed - all paid for with November’s survey earnings. 

Then I really must make a start on wrapping Christmas presents. 

Prosecco in the fridge ready for tonight’s Strictly final. Sad that’s it for another year 🙁. 

Tonight’s dinner is beetroot burger, wedges and salad. Mr SA is having the same but beef burger not beetroot, don’t think he’d be happy with a beetroot one 🤣

Shopping done, nails and eyebrows done, most of the wrapping done ✔️ 

Went for a mix of red and gold glitter on my nails. The technician was really pleased with them and took a photo. I now match my Christmas tree, better not stand too close to it or I’ll disappear 🤣

Mr SA has started a new pester for a tool bag. Bearing in mind he never does any jobs around the house 😐 Apparently if I don’t buy him one I’m stopping him from being a man 🤔

Received a bottle of wine and some chocolates from my line manager at work for Christmas. I rarely see her as she’s based in Manchester and don’t really have that much contact with her so that was a nice touch. 

Shock horror DD is going out out tonight! She rarely goes anywhere other than work!

Very pleased with the Strictly results I wanted Ellie to win although they were all brilliant 🤩 

Tomorrow afternoon we are off to see an all female swing band at our local pub. Went to see them a few years ago just before the Pandemic and they were absolutely fantastic so really looking forward to this. However the timing interferes with Mr SA’s siesta time so will go by myself if need be.

The band sounds good, I hope you have a great time, with or without Mr SA. We went to a concert this evening and it was a treat, great quality.

I hope your DD enjoys her evening out, too.

Morning all. 

Have been up a while reading and enjoying the peace before Mr SA gets up. Have done two loads of washing and might hang it out as the forecast is sunny and windy. 

I need to get all my jobs done by lunchtime so there’s nothing to do when we get back from watching the band. 

It won’t be a NSD as drinks will be purchased at the pub. I also need to order some bathroom seal and a new toilet seat so I can get that done before Christmas. 

I need to decide what to cook for my dinner tonight, will rummage around in the fridge for inspiration. Mr SA is having beef in the slow cooker with the last of the potatoes, so my dinner can’t involve potatoes. I refuse to buy any today when they’re going to be 19p tomorrow 😆

The band was absolutely brilliant I do love a saxaphone ❤️ The pub was packed, glad we didn’t decide to eat there as well although we did manage to get a seat.

Back home now. Really enjoyed this afternoon it was so festive. We got talking to the band leader and she said our local pub allow them to use their function room to rehearse so once a year they do a gig there free of charge to say thank you. They usually do gigs at a part of the city not near to us unfortunately. We left the dog at home but most people had a dog with them so wish we’d taken her now. 

Have won a lucky dip on the Lottery again 🙂

Have been pressing tofu all afternoon so tonight’s dinner is tofu and mushroom stir fry with sesame noodles. Forgot I had tofu at the back of the fridge and it needed using up, will freeze what I don’t use tonight.
