WFH again today as the drive gates and fencing are being fitted. So another spendy day but all in a good cause.
I got my thermals from Lid! yesterday. I got there about 10am and already a lot of stock had gone. I had to rummage for the small size. I got some leggings, thermal jeggings and a jumper dress. The dress is rather big for a small but will be very warm with the leggings. Also bought the dog a new harness and some Christmas stockings for her and the two cats as there was 25% off pet things too. Picked up my free seeded sourdough loaf and have also spent enough for the next free gift which is a yoghurt or dessert. In my opinion the free gift when you spend £100 isn't as good as the free bakery item for a £50 spend. Not that I spend £100 in a month there that often because I just tend to top up shop there on my way home from work.
I also bought the steamer, headphones and shaver from Currys purchasing a gift card via work and saved myself £18.
This morning the pre-lit Christmas tree I've been hanging my nose over has been reduced so that's been ordered.
Feel like I'm spending a lot but it's all budgeted for and I'm ticking things off my list that need buying and I have the money saved for. I still need to get someone to clear the guttering - Mr SA has finally conceded that we need to get someone in to do this! Also need a new toilet seat and a new seal for the shower screen. I'm going to roll the bathroom painting over to next year's home improvements I think as the dining room is on the hit list for next year's improvements and I might as well get the painter to do both. It's not desperate to be honest.
Today's exercise is taking the dog on the park across the road and I'll probably find something on Utube later to top my steps up.
I'm going to try and get all the downstairs cleaned after work so I don't have to do it tomorrow.
Also need to sort out what needs using up from stores for tonight's dinner.0 -
Pleased you enjoyed your day out and got a bargainous coat at the charity shop. I’d been looking for a new coat before our trip away but couldn’t find anything….I felt so frumpy and out of sorts with myself whilst away.
Your new fences sound lovely- the house is coming along nicely by the sound of it.
I can’t believe you’ve had the small cat 2 years - she has certainly grown.January spends - £587.582
