@Cherryfudge they’re great for getting in hard to access nooks and crannies. My old one broke some time ago and I do miss it. I want one with a long handle so I can do the bathroom tiles without climbing.

That's exactly what I could do with. Mind you with a new laptop on the horizon, I'd better not spend where I don't really need to.

    And it's Friday again 😎

WFH again today as the drive gates and fencing are being fitted. So another spendy day but all in a good cause.

I got my thermals from Lid! yesterday. I got there about 10am and already a lot of stock had gone. I had to rummage for the small size. I got some leggings, thermal jeggings and a jumper dress. The dress is rather big for a small but will be very warm with the leggings. Also bought the dog a new harness and some Christmas stockings for her and the two cats as there was 25% off pet things too. Picked up my free seeded sourdough loaf and have also spent enough for the next free gift which is a yoghurt or dessert. In my opinion the free gift when you spend £100 isn't as good as the free bakery item for a £50 spend. Not that I spend £100 in a month there that often because I just tend to top up shop there on my way home from work.

I also bought the steamer, headphones and shaver from Currys purchasing a gift card via work and saved myself £18.

This morning the pre-lit Christmas tree I've been hanging my nose over has been reduced so that's been ordered.

Feel like I'm spending a lot but it's all budgeted for and I'm ticking things off my list that need buying and I have the money saved for. I still need to get someone to clear the guttering - Mr SA has finally conceded that we need to get someone in to do this! Also need a new toilet seat and a new seal for the shower screen. I'm going to roll the bathroom painting over to next year's home improvements I think as the dining room is on the hit list for next year's improvements and I might as well get the painter to do both. It's not desperate to be honest.

Today's exercise is taking the dog on the park across the road and I'll probably find something on Utube later to top my steps up.

I'm going to try and get all the downstairs cleaned after work so I don't have to do it tomorrow.

Also need to sort out what needs using up from stores for tonight's dinner.

  • Ask the men there today iv the know if anyone for guttering. Our window cleaner clears and cleaned ours.

Well done on all the shopping off your list. I feel like I should buy something in sale but don't need anything and no one has any ideas what I can get them fog Christmas 🤣

I am guaranteed to spill something on something new.

I once spilled a full cup of coffee on the brand new cream carpets of a friend's brand new £350k boat 🙈

They were really nice about it and said well someone had to be the first to spill something on it!

I drop things regularly not to mention spilling drinks. I find it very frustrating. I also fall sometimes but more often my balance just goes and I lurch sideways and dont ever ask me to walk in a straight line. I am sure people think I spend my life half cut.

I thought spilling on something new was a requirement too.  There is a reason why I tend to have multicoloured carpets.  If I had a pale carpet it would be coffee, if a coloured one it would be vimto.  I think you get the picture.

    Happy Saturday 🥂

The young cat has been out all night and came in this morning shouting about it, soaking wet and starving. She’s sleeping it off on top of the radiator now. Incidentally we’ve had her for exactly two years, that’s flown by.

Not really got much planned for today. No visitors and some of the deliveries are arriving so we can’t go far. I’m doing a live ClubFit class in an hour then need to drop off the soft plastic recycling at Mr T and pick up a paper. The dog will need to go on the park at some point.

No plans to buy anything other than a paper so should be a low spend day.

I noticed one of the local charity shops is advertising for clothing donations so will drop something off later.

Tonight’s dinner is veggie burger with curly fries and salad. Rose cava needs to go in the fridge for Strictly.
