I have 2 from 1959.  Neither a winner.  I do have many from more recently although I am keeping those 2 for sentimental reasons.  I have found the bigger "clumps" they are in the more likely they are to win.  The win rate does seem to have improved significantly recently though.  Unfortunately still no agent million.  A much safer way of gambling than the lottery though.

The late MrC had some premium bonds and had never had a win. By some impressive twist of fate he finally won the month that he died. You have to see the funny side - it made me laugh.

I've never won anything on premium bonds either but you definitely can't win unless you have some.  I was buying £50 a month for a communal pot for the grandchildren.  I cashed them in earlier this year and put the money in a high interest savings account for a year and will re-consider options when that matures.

    Halfway through the week already!

WFH again today as the dishwasher repair is happening this morning, coming between 8 and 10. Hopefully they'll be able to fix it. If they can't the insurance pays for a new one. I was going to cancel this insurance as I'd never called on it in the 7 years I've had the dishwasher, glad I didn't now. I must say I've not missed the dishwasher as much as I thought I would. It's only a slimline one so not much fits in it anyway and I tend to wash a fair bit by hand anyway.

I originally planned a NSD today but I've ordered the S0ap & Gl0ry set as seen on the MSE email. I always buy this at Christmas and it's budgeted for in my Christmas pot. In fact it was 50p less than I'd allowed in my budget 😆 While I was on the B00ts website I noticed my vitamin D tablets are on half price so added them as I'm almost out then noticed my favourite Clinique lipstick, which is also almost out, was on 20% off so that went in the basket. It's a shade I absolutely love and the only lipstick I use right down to the last dregs. I've tried on many occasions to find a cheaper version of this shade without success. So that's £51.49 spent before I even started work! All needed and budgeted for though, so no impulse buys.

Exercise today will be walking the dog once the repair has happened, move & motivate at lunchtime and Zumba tonight.

Tonight's dinner will be a stir fry, still got a few bits of veg that need using sooner rather than later.

I need to clean the bathroom and bedroom after work plus the usual Spanish lessons and a few surveys.

We started saving into Premium Bonds about 18 months ago. Have not won anything yet but see it as though at least we still have the money there unlike if we had used the money to play the lottery. We only put £100 a month in there but it is adding up.

We used to have some years ago, I think we won £50 a couple of times, but we cashed them in for some reason or another. A lot of people on the diaries seem to be successful. I see it as a chance to win something without losing the money.

The dishwasher repair chap was here about 10 minutes tops. All sorted now and I'm afraid it was user error rather than anything wrong with it! I hadn't screwed the dishwasher salt cap back on properly and water had got inside it 😬 This is what our work IT department called being a PICNIC (problem in chair not in computer).

I mentioned I'd changed all my appliances to Bek0 as I'm really pleased with their reliability and he said they are the best on the market at the moment for the price.
