  • My friend has just paid £4.45 for a bottle of sparkling water tonight, I wish I knew where they got their prices from.

I am glad I dont go out drinking as that seems somewhat excessive but then I have no idea of pub price these days. As far as my brain says beer is £1 a pint. :D
Probably paying for the Molton Brown hand wash and hand cream in their toilets 🤣

Thanks for the reminder about the original Hocus Pocus I shall try and find it and watch it on Tuesday afternoon as a special "now I'm retired" treat.

Be aware it’s not free to view unless you have Disney Plus. I bought it from Amazon so can watch it as often as I wish. I’ve seen this film so many times but still love it. Bette Midler is fab and makes me laugh out loud and the ending still brings a tear to my eye. Brilliant film in my opinion.

Ticked everything off my to do list and finally clocked off to watch Hocus Pocus at 3.15. Then it was time for a relaxing bath with a face pack. After that it was time to make the soup and aubergine caponata, which was lovely but didn’t have pine nuts so just left them out.

Mr SA alerted me to the fact that there were trick or treaters about but reminded him as it’s not officially Halloween until Tuesday I won’t be answering the door. They didn’t knock in the end. I am partly dreading Tuesday as we get loads of trick or treaters and the constant knocking drives the dog nuts. On the other hand I love to see the kids dressed up and they’re so polite and grateful for the sweets. The cut off point is 7pm I don’t answer the door after that.

Not looking forward to Halloween truth be told. It drives the dog mad.

I'm tempted to just go out somewhere after work and come home later when they have gone!
