I’ve had a lovely day today. Have done a bit of Christmas shopping, had a relaxing coffee in my favourite C@fe Ner0 then met my friend for a drink before going to the retirement do. The meal and venue were lovely but OMG £9.30 for a glass of the cheapest wine 😱 Needless to say only one was consumed! £9.30!!😱 Still shocked, I wouldn’t pay that much for a bottle in a supermarket 🤣 £9.30! 😱🤣
I want to move into the John Lewis Christmas display in the city centre, it is gorgeous and so cosy 😍
Felt a bit like Cinderella as everyone went for a drink afterwards and I had to go home to cook Mr SA’s dinner.
The MnS beauty advent calendar arrived today so that was quick from only ordering yesterday! My right arm is really sore after yesterday’s fall. I put it out to save myself as you do naturally. Apart from that I’m fine.Today’s step count 28,088. Walked to/from/round town.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

I am glad I dont go out drinking but that seems somewhat excessive but then I have no idea of pub price these days. As far as my brain says beer is £1 a pint.1

By comparison I met my friend in Spoons beforehand and she bought me a glass of very nice wine for £4. Dare I say it, it was nicer than the £9.30 one 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1
