Thank you both for clarifying that. I’ve never dabbled with switching before so all new territory for me.
Ended up doing over an hour extra at work - the downside of WFH. It adds on to my flexi so will get the time back. However it meant I didn’t have time to do everything I’d hoped in respect of cleaning and decluttering. Oh well can’t be helped.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1 -
It was the first bank switch we'd ever done when we switched to Sant a couple of years ago. I was so impressed with how seamless it was though - the only issue I had was that the account names attached to my previously internal transfers (which then because external ones of course) didn't transfer so I had to cancel and set those up again - but that was a "specific to us" issue and not one most folk would encounter I suspect.

That's Wednesday done. Have been in the office today, it was very quiet, rail strikes I guess. I was sat all on my own and if a colleague hadn't called me for a chat I wouldn't have spoken to anyone at all!
Not a NSD as I saw the light up pumpkin biscuits tins advertised in MnS so went to pick a couple up, one for us and one for the GKs. While I was there I spotted the light up hot chocolate tins I wanted to get for DIL for Christmas last year but they sold out so that went in the basket. Sometimes you have to grab these things when you seen them or they sell out. So the first Christmas present of the year has been purchased, well part of it anyway.
Got two loads of washing dry and Mr SA brought it in from the line - yes shock horror!
Quick check of finances done, checked bank, checked cc, looked to see if the £300 sent to YBS yesterday was showing on the app but it isn't yet.
Exercise is walking to/from work then Zumba at 6pm. Tonight's dinner is tuna steak with rice and veg. I was going to make a veggie chilli but will roll that over until tomorrow when I'll have more time.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
That’s so true SA - the time to buy is when you see it (and can afford it of course!)
how many times have we said that we should
have bought one in every colour!Check our Mr SA getting all domesticated! Is he angling for a new pester present?? 😉🤣Lancashire

Well done to Mr SA on the domestic front. I bet it was a surprise.Good going on the Christmas gifts, it is always best to buy when you see with seasonal goods as they tend to disappear fairly quickly. It has happened to me on more than one occasion.1

Morning all, happy Friday eve.
WFH today. The Mr M delivery has been and is all packed away.
The dog has got into a bad habit of staying up gaming with DD until 2am then waking me up to get in bed! Both cats were out all night and the dirty stop outs were waiting at the door this morning desperate for food 😆
Around this time of year I tend to pick up the odd Christmas gift when I see something rather than purposefully go out to look for something specific I probably won't find. I will be releasing the Christmas pot into the wild at the end of the month to start looking in earnest during November. I don't have many presents to buy just the GKs, DS, DIL, DD, Mr SA and the fur babies. Oh and my own of course (can't trust Mr SA to pick something!). It's also DS's birthday a few days before Christmas and DD's a couple of weeks after (timed that well didn't I!)
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, a lunchtime stretch & tone session and Zumba tonight.
Trying a new recipe tonight from the October BBC Good Food magazine - double bean and roasted pepper chilli. When the magazine hit the doormat a couple of weeks ago I made a list of the recipes I wanted to try and I'm making my way down the list this month.
Hoping to at least get some of that make up decluttering done today.
I can hear Mr SA getting up so the peace will be shattered shortly.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

We also have a good dose of family birthdays in December. A nephew on Christmas eve, A brother and step father on Boxing Day and a Niece on New Years Eve. Makes December an expensive month.
We do hampers for the main family presents each Christmas. We pick bits up while we are out on our travels through the year. Got the last bits delivered yesterday. Just need to get those wrapped and they are finished. That just leaves us a few presents to pick up for nieces and nephews and something for ourselves and the dog. Although the other half is already ahead of the game with that one!
Hoping to have everything bought and wrapped early again this year. It was much less stressful last year when we were super organised2
