The curry was delicious. The WW recipes are spot on and the reason why I’ve maintained my 16lbs weight loss since 2002 👍 Exercise does play a massive part in the maintenance though. I totally re-educated the way I eat and make everything from scratch now. Absolutely no takeaways or ready meals. I will say food is not my downfall if anything it’s wine. I don’t really like cake or anything high calorie but I do love a drop of good red wine. I can’t drink a lot nowadays, the tolerance has definitely lowered over the years, the days of me downing 14 halves of lager and black and still standing are long behind me 🤣 I used to have a ratio of more blackcurrant than lager and a barman once said to me you don’t really like lager if you have that much blackcurrant in it 🤣 Can’t drink it now far too sweet 🤢I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

And the potato saga in Lanzarote continues to amuse me, who knew they relied on our spuds so much 😆 https://gazettelife.com/news/welcome-back-british-spuds/I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Morning all happy October 🎃I’m up early for a Sunday, thanks to the cats, little devils. I was about ready for a coffee anyway and I do love this time of the day when Mr SA is fast asleep and all is quiet. So it’s the first day of October and the start of my Out with it October decluttering mission. As a minimum I want to tackle my clothes, shoes and bags today. The aim is to get the bedroom completely decluttered by the end of the week.It will be NSD1 of October. No plans to go anywhere other than the park across the road with the dog.I need to give the house a good clean as had no time yesterday. Also need to sort out something for tonight’s dinner once I’ve done the meal plan for the week. Also need to cash out survey money.Self care Sunday will be a yoga session, hair mask, painting my nails and a bath with a face mask later. Also got the live mindfulness session later this morning although I’m terrible at mindfulness, I can’t switch off for long enough and my attention span is dreadful. We did one at work once and I was bored to tears with it halfway through. I felt awful as everyone else thought it was brilliant, some even nodded off and there was me just wanting it to hurry up and finish 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8

I think we all find a state of mindfulness in different ways. I can't do the mindfulness exercises either as my thoughts are far too active. I find the mindfulness headspace when I'm out working in the garden. I don't think it matters how we achieve it, as long as sometimes do.

Surveys/cash back all cashed out. Scores on the doors for September:
Prolific £30.01
QMee £1.85
Eureka £7.05
Amazon Shopper Panel £2.00
Top Cashback £1.40
Total £42.31
Still have £5 pending in PA and am almost at £25 cash out with Opinium so a good head start for October.I don’t spend loads of time on surveys as I don’t have that much spare time but it shows how just doing a couple a day soon mounts up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2 -
Self care Sunday sounds perfect.
Interesting to read you have maintained your weightloss for over 20 years. Impressive! If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Ironed and hung up some work trousers and jeans from the autumn/winter bags and 3 pairs have gone in the charity bag so that’s a few less pairs. I tried them all on and any I was in two minds about went in the charity bag. I still have far too many pairs of jeans though!Unfortunately wardrobe decluttering is temporarily halted as Mr SA is having his siesta. On the plus side it means an hour or so of peace and quiet for me and I have plenty of other jobs to be getting on with.@doingitanyway I occasionally fluctuate but always rein myself back in sharpish if my clothes feel tight or the scales start to creep up. I seem to have found the right balance of exercise/healthy eating to maintain without depriving myself.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
