That’s the working week done, last full week for a while 🥳

Worked in the office today, it was very quiet. Finished just after lunchtime as I always do on Fridays.

I’ve finally bought some sandals for holiday from Next. Been looking all over and couldn’t find any I liked.

Stopped off at L!dl on the way home.

We’re going to DS’s house on the train tomorrow. Mr SA isn’t keen but we haven’t been for some time and it will be a change of scenery. I know why he isn’t keen, he’s worrying about what time he’ll get his lunch 😐

Exercise today has been walking to/from work. I managed to miss the rain this morning and it was sunny on the way home.

Tonight’s dinner is a stir fry.

Looking forward to putting my feet up with a large glass of red wine later 🍷

LOl, @Sun_Addict - Mr SA sounds exactly like Soot for his meals. I always think that when you mention that he's thinking about his lunch early. That is Soot's life!

I hope you have a nice time at DS's tomorrow. Mr SA should take a packed lunch in case he gates hungry on the train!😉

My mum is the world's biggest fan of Cullen Skink.
    I personally loathe it

Something made me go in the Jet2 app and look at the apartments in Lanzarote we loved in April. They only had one ground floor room left for when we want to go and it’s a good price so have booked it for next April. I was going to wait until we got back from Zante but that room could have gone by then. Now I just need to let special assistance know and I’ll get a refund on the pre booked seats - £50.

Cullen skink is dead easy to make and quick. I use the hairy bikers recipe (almost) which is available on line though if want I can put it on here. The only disadvantage to it is the house stinks when I am cooking it so we call it stinky soup. I have also made it using basa which is much cheaper although not quite as tasty.
