The rain eased off late morning so managed to get out with the dog. It's still very dark and gloomy though. Forecast for the next few days looks better - we shall see!
In money news, have received the monthly statement from Octopus and we are now £455 in credit, pleased with that. Also have enough points for a £5 off voucher for tomorrow's Mr M shop. Finances have been sorted, the cc balance has been paid off and in week 4 of the 4 week budget period we have £276.08 underspend. Obviously we need groceries this week so that amount will go down but should still end up with a decent chunk of underspend for once.
Checked in online and printed off boarding passes. Will order currency and book the airport lounge tomorrow. 16 days to go, getting so close now 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Been horrible here has well. Was pouring down first thing and I had to go for a blood test at local small hospital. I like to park in the nearby Mr T where I can stay for 3 hours for free, that way I get more steps in and no hassle of having to drive round looking for on road parking. Luckily by the time I got there, the rain had eased off, so parked and walked up, then walked into town as well. So managed quite a few steps, saved paying to park in the leisure centre carpark nearby, and didn't get wet.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Pleased you had a lovely time when you had your day out. The Italian shop sounds interesting.
We used to have a brilliant market but it really went downhill. It has had a revamp over the last few years and the old ‘hen market’ which sold fresh produce has been moved into the bigger market hall and artisan food hot food stalls which have communal seating has taken its place. It’s quite nice in there. The bigger market hall haas also had a revamp but has gone very arty. There aren’t that many older stalls there but several have been stalls passed down through the family.January spends - £587.583 -
Caught up with your diary SA! Glad to hear you've got some nice up and coming independent shops coming along in your area. I'm very lucky that my little high street is made up of quite a few of these although there seems to be more eateries opening - all very nice though. However the shops in our large seaside town down the road seems to be suffering along with the rest of the country in that so many have closed the last couple of years.Won't be long now till Zante - lovely little island. 🥰Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

High street shopping has got me thinking about poor W!lkos - the main problem I’ve always had with them is the prices. Why would I buy a hair dye for £8 or £9 when I can get the exact same one from H@me B@rg@ins for £5.50.
they just weren’t competitive enough but it really is a shameLancashire

Morning, happy Tuesday.
WFH today and a lovely sunny morning. One load of washing on and another to follow.
Already had to rescue the first frog of the day from the young cat!
Mr M delivery has been and packed away. Two subs but both acceptable and discounted to match the price of the originals.
Supposed to be going to a friends of the park across the road meeting tonight, don't really feel like it but I missed the last one so feel I have to at least show my face.
Today's exercise is taking the dog on the park later this morning, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a new recipe to try Jamie Oliver's lemony courgette linguine
Mr SA and the dog are still in bed but I expect the peace to be shattered any time soon.
Going to book the airport lounge and currency today.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
