I didn’t have spelt so used Pearl barley. I didn’t have dill either, was going to use coriander instead but forgot 🙄 I also added some courgette just for the hell of it 🤣 It was absolutely delicious anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Morning all, happy Friday Eve 😎
WFH today, it should also be a NSD (have lost count but less than 10 anyway).
Exercise will be dog walking later this morning, a lunchtime stretch & tone session and Zumba tonight.
Tonight's dinner is a veggie sausage traybake, going to make two portions so I have one for tomorrow's work lunch.
Other tasks will be the usual cleaning, Spanish lessons and maybe the odd survey. I also need to mow the lawns and do some weeding. I wish Mr SA could help out more with the gardening.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Busy day.

I've looked on Ebay but he's insisting on getting one from Zante now. I've told him I don't plan to be trawling around the shops in that heat but if we happen to be passing one on our morning walk he can go in to look. He seems to have forgotten there aren't really that many shops there, it's not like Lanzarote!
Mr SA took the dog out by himself so I've just cut the grass as my morning fresh air break.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -

Have you tried cullen skink. It is a soup but we have it as a dinner with french bread.

Thank you, SA. That looks delicious. I don't think I could get Himself to try spelt but with a little bit of improvisation I'm sure he'd love it.
I love cullen skink, ladyholly, I've never made it myself but it is one of the things I'm going to try. The other one is kedgeree. If anyone has a simple recipe it would be very much appreciated. xxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.2
