Haven't tried to hoop for probably 25 years now. I was ok at it when I was younger. Suspect that will have changed now though2

Oh, @Sun_Addict, I am with you on the difficulties of hula-hooping. The only time I have EVER managed to hula hoop was with the old-fashioned bamboo hoops which used to be knocking around the primary school gym where our girl guides meetings were held back in the 1970s. I had a perfectly decent plastic hoop at home of the same size but simply could NOT keep it up, whereas I could keep hooping for a while with the bamboo ones. I bought one of the weighted ones about 15 years ago when they became 'a thing' but I soon got rid of it. Even with the helpful wodge of fat on my hips providing an excellent ledge for a hoop to sit did not prove remotely helpful & I got tired of endlessly picking it up from the patio slabs. I'm sure that with your love of exercise, you'll persevere & soon be back to tell us you are entering a hula marathon.

After watching a tutorial on YT I know where I was going wrong. The bigger the hoop the easier it is to keep up apparently so I added a couple more pieces to it and hey presto suddenly it’s a whole lot easier. Not proficient by any stretch of the imagination but there is definite improvement. I would never have guessed this, every day’s a school day 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

That's Wednesday done. Absolutely shattered today. Have been in the office and participated in an event that meant I was on my feet for over 3 hours plus going back and forth fetching stuff to set it up. I've already done 20,000 steps and 71 flights of stairs. Still got Zumba to do at 6pm. I'll sleep well tonight.
At least the rain has stopped and the sun is out! Getting fed up of the rain and grey skies now.
Not a NSD day as bought some samosas from the event and stopped off at L*dl on the way home.
Tonight's dinner is scampi, swede "fries" and veg. Not faffing about making stuff tonight.
