The cassoulet was beautiful so will definitely make again. I made two portions so enough for a lunch or another dinner. With the COL payment from work, although it’s a good amount it’s taxed so need to see how much it is after that. I hope to put most of it to one side but I desperately need a pair of trainers to walk to work in as I’ve worn the bottoms of mine smooth so they’re slippery when it’s wet. I also need some new bath towels.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Another working week done. Getting closer to the Zante holiday 😎Worked in the office today but finished early. I never do a full day on Fridays 😆
Yet another spending day as took advantage of the coffee and cookie for £1 deal at work. Plus I went to L*dl on the way home.Managed to get some time relaxing in my hanging chair with my book when I got home. The weather has been fantastic today.Tried another new recipe tonight smoked haddock with leeks, cauliflower and pearl barley it was absolutely delicious. I think the recipe was from the Mr T magazine but can’t be certain. It was supposed to be made with spelt but didn’t have any so used pearl barley.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -

Happy Saturday 🥂
Currently trying to locate the source of the “something off” whiff I keep getting 🤔
Doing a live ClubFit class in 30 minutes then will be going to the big Mr T with the soft plastic recycling. Then it’s the park with the dog. Should just about get back before the predicted rain.Trying another new recipe tonight from the new PON book - mushroom and spinach curry. I’m going to make 4 portions and freeze 3.Not a lot else happening, might sort out my suitcase this afternoon.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I'm sure the whiffs like the hot weather. We have one too, which I thought was the washing machine but a deep clean, while it improved the washer, hasn't got rid of The Smell.
Sorting your suitcase makes your next holiday sound imminent! How long now?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
