Ibet you were surprised at MR SAs sudden burst of doing something useful. I hope it can continue but fear probably not. ABI is so difficult to deal with.

That's good news - and probably good for Mr SA too, in terms of it being 'his' money. Do you have plans for the space you've acquired?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning, happy Tuesday. Thought I'd better come on here before the forum update happens this afternoon.
WFH today. Mr M delivery has been and packed away. A bit of start the day stress in the form of a battle trying to fit everything in the freezer. I'm afraid I can't make any more batch cooked stuff for a while. I wouldn't mind but I have two freezers! Neither of them are huge though. I'm going to have to slightly rejig the meal plan for the rest of the month.
I've upped the excess of the dog's insurance from £99 to £159 so the monthly payments have only gone up £3 a month now instead of £10 if I kept it to £99. Managed to do it via the website so that's saved me a phone call.
A few things have come to light recently that mean I need to set up some more savings pots for annual expenses that I forget about until it's time to pay them again eg Mr M delivery saver, magazine subs, Prime.
I need to phone the nail salon this morning as one of my nails has chipped already. Only had them done Thursday. The woman who did them was fresh from college and I was a bit hesitant but realised everyone has to start somewhere. She didn't do them as well as the more experienced ones and I had a feeling this would happen. I wouldn't mind if I'd been charged less but I was charged the usual price. I'm sure they'll re-do that nail though. I'm just glad it wasn't my holiday nails as I would've been really annoyed.
I had some really bad pains in my ankle where I had the surgery last night, proper bone pain almost as bad as a break. It wasn't relieved by resting and weirdly eased when I was walking about. It feels a lot better this morning thankfully. They did say I could have the plate and screws out if they started to cause trouble, hopefully this isn't the start.
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, live bums & tums at lunchtime and live resistance bands later.
Change of plan on my menu for tonight's dinner as I need to use up some of the almond milk I bought for the PON mushroom curry so I'm having Sundried tomato and spinach pasta. This recipe will also use up leftover spinach and I have loads of basil in the greenhouse. I've also had a jar of sundried tomatoes in the cupboard forever which I seemed to have bought to be admired and not used!
Also need to look on Amazon to see if there are any Prime Day deals on coffee pods as the Mr M ones have gone up.

Morning SA - hope the ankle pains continue to ease.Could it be weather related do you think? Just wondering as when the weather is unsettled an old injury of mine always lets me know about it.
with all the walking and exercise you do at least you are strengthening the muscles that look after that ankle.Meal plan sounds tasty xxLancashire

Quite right on the nails.
It happened to us at Stobo years ago & they redid them.
It was the same thing as you ~~ a wee girl just out of college.

That's the best part of Wednesday done.
Firstly OMG how dire is this new forum layout! It's all faded and wishy washy. All the colour has gone out of it. The only good thing is I've now got a folder with every diary I've ever had since 2009 in there and I've had a quick flick through - oh my days 😆 I'm finding it quite hard to read because it's so faint. I thought it was just because I access it via the app on my phone/tablet but it's no better on a laptop. Please bring the colour back into our lives powers that be!
I've been in the office this morning and just got back to finish up at home. I've got to go out in a bit as the beauty salon are re-doing my nails. The gel is now chipping off most of them.
Not a NSD as I had to pick up some dried cat food from L*dl on the way home from work.
Exercise is walking to/from work and a live Zumba class at 6pm. Got soaked walking home, it was a mash up of sunshine and torrential rain.
Tonight's dinner is a tuna steak with Mexican rice and veg.
