One persons weeds....
we had a lovely stretch of Lilly of the valley, destroyed by chickens without any obvious side impact. I wasn't eating eggs by then (they literally eat everything which really puts you off) but nobody else seemed to suffer.
Periwinkle was my most hated weed (vinca major/minor) a few years back. I can't believe people buy it etc....My mortgage free diary: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6498069/whoops-here-comes-the-cheese

Mr SA must be feeling rough because he’s gone to bed and not touched his beer leftover from the weekend. On the plus side I have the remote 🥳 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

@Sun_Addict - From my experience of living with Mr F, I do concur with you that ignoring beer & relinquishing the remote are indeed signs of feeling truly lergyfied.

Sun_Addict said:Also found out at the garden centre/nursery that the plant that loves my garden a bit too much is called alchemilla. It’s everywhere, definitely didn’t plant it so must be a gift from the birds. Can’t believe they were selling it. The woman in the shop said you can divide it, no thanks because it’s already everywhere 😆
Still miffed about not having poppies in my garden because they’re growing out of cracks in the pavements locally but won’t grow in my garden, I even sowed seeds but nothing happened - I want poppies 🙁

I found this: https://www.rspb.org.uk/get-involved/activities/nature-on-your-doorstep/garden-activities/planting-poppy-seeds/
It makes it all sound so simple 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
They only grow in the veg plot here (where I don't want them) and not the full sun borders. They clearly need to read some articles. I love the red ones in wild flower plantings at the side of roads.

I have poppies growing in a trough in my front garden. I don't remember ever planting them though and we bought the trough so I know it would have only been us. The birds must have pinched some.seeds. xSeptember 2017 Debt = £25330
