Let us know how the day progresses.

Gel polish will be great. You always take good care of yourself and I'm sure it shows. :)

Called 111 they can’t get him a GP appointment but have made a referral and I’ve to call the surgery back. I’m currently in queue position 5. This is so frustrating 😡

On top of all this next door sounds like he’s either sanding or drilling the connecting wall and I can hardly hear a thing 🙁

It's awful that you can't get an appointment, I hope the queue goes down soon.

If next door goes on much longer, perhaps ask how long it will be as having an end in sight might help you and will alert them to the fact they are so loud. I complained to a neighbour recently as an 11pm bonfire was blowing smoke into our upstairs and the rising sparks were a worry. He put out the fire and apologised next time I saw him, so peace was restored.

I was in the queue for 50 minutes before anyone picked up! He's got a telephone consultation with a GP 'some time' today.  His chest is very wheezy and he's struggling with his breathing. I'm sure all he needs are some antibiotics.

I felt guilty going out and having my nails done but he was instructed not to leave his chair. I was gone less than an hour. He's sitting outside in the sun throwing a ball to the dog right now.

Thankfully work has kept fairly quiet and I'll be logging off in a couple of hours. I am so grateful I have such a flexible and understanding employer.

I'm so glad you finally got through! It does sound like an infection. I hope he gets his consultation and a prescription soon.
