Did Mr SA have any hobbies before his illness/brain injury, @Sun_Addict? I was just wondering if any particular interest or hobby could be adapted to suit his current ability/concentration level. Is there a little project you could set him on in the garden, for instance? Would he make a nest box or bee box, for instance, or be in charge of growing some specific veg? I'm just trying to think of occasions when he could perhaps get on with his own stuff, so he's not as bored & you have more quiet time.
I have never lived with a brain-injured person though, so I don't really feel at all equipped to make any suggestions.

(((hugs))) SA. Unfortunately it doesn't get any easier does it?

Just a quick note to say 'thanks' as something you mentioned the other day has now led to me signing up for one of those 'most of the meal via your letterbox' deals for a whole £1 for four meals for two people.
(It will be more once I've bought the fresh food part of the meals but it's still a bargain).
Of course there is always the chance that I'll forget to cancel and it will cost a lot more in the longer term, but I will have fun in the meantime, experimenting.
Did you go out in the end?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Re the breast cancer research, can I ask you to consider doing it please? My mid-30s DIL has recurring cancerous lumps and is now being urged to consider a radical mastectomy. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?5

Thankfully summer made a reappearance yesterday and the weather looks lovely today. DS and the GKs are coming this afternoon so we’ll be able to sit in the garden. The dog will be happy because the GKs throw her ball and run about with her.Talking of the dog she loved the dog food sample from the Try It box. Looked up the brand and it’s one of these subscription ones and expensive. I’ve already tried two of the dog food subscriptions brands and after initially loving the food she went off both after a few days. One of them you had to store in the freezer which wasn’t very convenient. This morning’s plan is ClubFit shortly then I’m going to Wilko to see if I can find the storage baskets I want. I’m annoyed with myself because I bought some perfect ones a few weeks ago and just need a few more and I can’t remember where I got them from. I don’t go to that many shops so it shouldn’t be hard to narrow it down. They weren’t expensive so it’s got to be B&M, Wilko or the pound shop. B&M was ruled out yesterday.Tonight’s dinner is pizza, salad and Prosecco. Woo hoo 🥂Sealed pot challenge 822

I hate doctor' appointments too but re the breast cancer research could I also ask you to consider doing it. I had a rash on my right breast, no lumps or bumps. and every doctor, surgeon and radiologist I saw said they didn't think it was anything to worry about. Wrong. I was diagnosed with breast cancer in January and am still having treatment even though it was caught early. I would urge everyone to take any testing you are offered. It probably will be nothing but you never know.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.6
