GKs have been and gone. DGD’s school had an OFSTED visit and apparently she told them the toilets were disgusting and gave them her unfavourable opinion on a few of the teachers 😬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7

Well, I guess if she can justify it, she's entitled to say it!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Morning all.Another lovely day forecast, but cloudy right now but my weather app says it’s full sun from 10am.Mr SA wants to ‘go somewhere’ today 😕 Not sure I want to but to pacify him we could take the dog to the big park further away. It has a little garden centre and they’re selling off plants this weekend so might be worth a look. There is also a jumble safari locally so we could have a look while we’re out.
The downside of sunny weather is that Mr SA wants to sit out in it all day. He doesn’t go for his nap so I don’t get a break from him. This is despite him being told not to sit out in it since he had the pre-cancerous growth removed. He can’t concentrate to read so just sits there staring into space and gets bored.I’d like to spend the day pottering about in the garden plus I have a few bits in the house to do.Going to put a colour on my hair shortly then do the week’s meal plan. I’m planning to join the WW live cook along at 6, making mushroom stroganoff, so that’s tonight’s meal for me.If I make a start on some jobs now I can get a few things done before Mr SA and the dog get up. I’m determined I’m going to get some time this afternoon to sit in the hanging chair and start my latest book.Oh and there’s leftover pizza so that’s lunch sorted plus leftover Prosecco for later 😎I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10 -
I love mushroom stroganoff, I first had a sample of it when T3sco launched their vegan range. Since then I made it a couple of times but not in a long time so I'll keep it in mind for next week.
Here's hoping Mr SA gets bored and takes his nap and you get to relax! 🌞01.12.2020 - CC £16,839 / Loan £18,820 / EF £0
