DD has come back from work with presents for the dog - two new balls and a squeaky frog toy. She spoils her more than I do. The thing is the dog expects a present every time DD comes home as it’s a regular occurrence.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Another one signed up here! Thanks. It looks interesting.
I hope Mr SA doesn't keep on and on at you...

Morning all, happy Thursday and happy June 😎
WFH today although the young cat managed to get me up earlier than I needed to. She was starting to annoy the dog.
The current account has been decimated, loads of direct debits have gone out today. Another £100 overpayment gone to the additional borrowing, just 3 more payments to go and the third one will be a small one. The £100 will then be switched to overpaying the mortgage.
£300 sent to the YBS Christmas Saver, ticked another 7 boxes off the 1p saver challenge £5.80 sent to that, I can send £125 to the Principality RS after the 4th and whatever is left over will go to the Cov RS. I will admit I'll be glad when all these regular savers have matured, they're confusing me! I will stick to one at a time after that I think.
Today's exercise is dog walking later this morning, a live HIIT session at lunchtime and another live Zumba class at 7pm. Due to popular demand WW are doing two live Zumba sessions a week. No one can say I don't get my money's worth at £6.95 a month.
Another new recipe to try tonight from Deliciously Ella - high protein sweet potato traybake. It was sent to me via mailing list, I can't find it online to share it. I have all the ingredients in stock so might as well give it a go - I certainly have plenty of edamame beans 😆
I need to put together a shoe rack that arrived from Am@zon last night. It's not for shoes it's to organise my toiletries. I've been looking for a cheap bookcase for a while without success and thought a shoe rack might work well as the toiletries are all in separate baskets. The current storage for them is a crafting trolley type thing but it wobbles all over the place with the weight and the drawers keep falling out so trying something sturdier.
Today should be NSD1 of June.

Your regular saver accounts are so well organised! I'm rubbish at opening new accounts so whenever I see mention of them I get a bit guilty.
However, you deserve the benefits of them as you've put in the work, and it's double the work as you're earning the cash then sorting through it all to put it in the best places.
I intend to look at my current account shortly: it was looking healthy yesterday when the money went in, but today it will look as though slugs have got in. That reminds me: the garden needs attention!
Your mention of dinner tonight had me reaching for my Deliciously Ella book: I've yet to cook anything from it and I've already agreed to tuna pasta for tonight, but I can see she had a few other sweet potato recipes I could try. I think you said you've cooked a few of her recipes.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
