I’ve had another productive day. Did a fair bit of cleaning this morning then the sun came out at lunchtime so did some gardening and managed to get some time reading in my hanging chair. The plants I picked up from Mr T have been planted - petunias and sunflowers. The bluebells are now dying off and the tamarisk tree is in full bloom. The next plants making a takeover bid on the garden are geraniums and buttercups but they’re so pretty I can’t bear to pull them up. The wild climbing/rambling rose at the bottom of the garden is also back and about to bloom. It’s spread even further this year and is heading towards next door’s garden. When I pointed these things out to Mr SA he said since when did you become Mrs Titchmarsh 😆
Back to work tomorrow - boo 😒 At least it’s WFH so not too bad.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)8 -
We have an abundance of Queen Anne's Lace in one corner, which is also too pretty to pull up. DH is telling people we are doing no-mow May. I suppose he's right, in patches!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Morning, happy Tuesday.
WFH today.
Mr M delivery arrived just before 7am, no missing items or subs. I thought the beer and wine might be missing as yesterday was the last day of the offer but as I ordered them before yesterday the offer was still honoured. This week's offer was £2 off ice lollies so bought a box to keep in for when the GKs visit.
Looked at finances and there was a small underspend of £32.34 across all the spending pots this 4 week period. This is a lot less than there is usually left over so will aim to do better over the next 4 weeks.
Exercise plan for today is taking the dog on the park shortly, bums & tums at lunchtime and resistance bands tonight.
Trying a new recipe from the Feel Better app for tonight's dinner - ratatouille orzo bake. I also need to make a batch of soup for work lunches.
I reached my 1000 day streak on Duolingo this morning 😁I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

That's an amazing streak on Duolingo - well done!
Also I'm still in awe of your steps/walking! My average is usually well over 5 miles (10,000 steps) a day, but I know for a fact my feet would be complaining if I tried doubling that!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

Is it here that I've read that a few people use Liz Earle? I'm sure it was on one of the diaries I read most. Tried a search but hopeless.
Anyway, John Lewis have a rather good offer on of £40 off £100 spend where some of the products are reduced 20% already. I know its not cheap cheap but it is a good deal for the brand.3 -
Fantastic effort on Duolingo! I'm still in the early 800s.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
