They're too old and battered to sell, even for parts, and I really don't want the faff of trying. However he might like the idea of recycling them at BnQ where they have an electricals box. They might not make it back into the shed though 😉
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪4 -
He mentioned it to his consultant and he said he'd chase it with the GP but nothing further has happened. Yet when his liver tests came back abnormal he was having a scan a couple of weeks later. I need to check his NHS app to see if there's a number to phone for the IBD team.

Afternoon all.
Worked in the office until lunchtime now WFH.
Picked up my free Ner0 coffee on the way to work.
Mid-week finance check done and cc balance cleared. The refund for the cancelled magazine subscription has now appeared.
Bought some small storage boxes with lids for Mr SA's screws/nails/bits and bobs from the £1 shop. Hopefully this will encourage him to sort them out properly rather than just a box of random bits.
Also stopped off at Lid! for a couple of things.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and it's live Zumba at 6pm.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of yellow pea and sweet potato curry from freezer stocks.
Expecting the shed man this afternoon, not sure how much he'll get done as it keeps raining. Hopefully it'll be done by the weekend so I can start putting things back in.

Hope you had good shed man weather, we've had torrentials and hailstones here!

The shed man has been here about 30 minutes. I told him I didn’t mind if he gave it a miss tonight because of the awful weather but he wanted to make a start on it. We’ve had hail too.

The shed is almost done. He’s just got the final bits to do and it’ll be finished tomorrow 🥳 He was here until 8pm, I was desperate for him to go so I could get changed into my PJs 🤣 He’s done a great job so far will definitely put more work his way when needed. I’m going to ask him to quote for a few other garden bits I need doing.
Now for the bad news - caught Mr SA swigging wine out of the bottle again from the cupboard where I keep it. He has vehemently denied it despite me catching him red-handed. I shouldn’t have left an open bottle in the cupboard but as there was only a small amount left in it I didn’t think he would stoop so low. In future any opened bottle will have to be hidden. This is so blooming frustrating, it’s like a constant battle 😠I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪6 -
Grrr to Mr sneaky McSneaky! Does the wine-swigging explain the upset tummy?
What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?0 -
It’s only ever the odd mouthful so I would say no. I usually hide opened bottles for this very reason but was caught off guard on this occasion.
