It's very frustrating. He knows he has a limit and when he goes over that limit he knows he's putting himself at risk. I think it's his way of rebelling.

All well and good to rebel if you're going to be the one dealing with the consequences though - it's a pretty rubbish thing to do when you know it will affect others!

    Afternoon all.

Back to work today and an office day. Ploughed my way through 315 items in my inbox although it took a couple of hours or so to weed out the things I needed to deal with straightaway.

The catch up with friends tomorrow has been postponed due to illness so that's worked out in my favour in a way.

Quick Monday finance check done and cc balance paid off. Sent 2 oddments of £7.77 and £5.77 to the Christmas pot.

Had a message from the magazine subscription I cancelled the other day offering me to renew 12 issues for £23.99 plus a £10 M&S voucher. It looks like there's a free book with it too. I think I'll take advantage of that. Just need to work out which issue I need to start it with as it doesn't officially finish until later in the year. Still haven't received the £54.99 refund for the other magazine but have had a message that it's on its way.

Stopped off at Lid! on the way home for a small shop.

Today's exercise has been walking to/from work and I'm doing a live strength training class tonight.

Tonight's dinner is leftover bean balls in sauce with pasta. Had a portion of the soup I made yesterday for lunch and can confirm it's absolutely delicious, I'd go as far to say it's the best tasting soup I've ever made. That recipe is definitely a keeper.

Would de-caff coffee be better for the tummy, do you think - as long as he was ok with the substitution, of course…..

Coffee is a big trigger for tummy upsets, I have IBS and DH has Colitis, which is an IBD, we both have to drink decaff r we'd be in real trouble. The other thing is alcohol for me though….oh and wheat, corn and citrus. Also too much sugar….LOL

Yes I've been thinking about swapping, I don't think he'd notice to be honest.

    Morning all

I was dreaming about emptying the blooming shed all night! I ran out of time last night. So there was me at 6.30 this morning clearing it out plus moving everything around it so the shed man has room to work. There was so much rubbish in the shed no way is all that lot going back in. Mr SA has several drills that don't work which he won't get rid of 'in case they come in'. He's got a new drill and very rarely uses that! Despite him saying he'd get up early to help, he was getting up just as I'd finished.

Also had to mop the living room floor as Mr SA knocked over a can of beer last night and I was just too tired to sort it out properly.

Waiting for the shed to be delivered and the shed man to arrive. Now I'm WFH all day it doesn't matter what time. It would be brilliant if the shed could be put up today though.

As today is so up in the air the only planned exercise for today is resistance bands tonight. However I've already done 5,000 steps just walking up and down the garden this morning so I won't be slacking in that department.

Tonight's dinner is a mish-mash of Mexican rice with smoked tofu and veg in taco shells - yes those taco shells are still knocking around, I will finish them one day😆

Also got a Mr M delivery arriving this afternoon.

Ah, you've just reminded me I too have an opened pack of taco shells somewhere. I might just break them up and consider them wonky nachos or they'll never get used 😄
