Sorry washing is an endless cycle at the minute. Hope Mr SA's tummy upset resolves soon to help reduce extra washing.

Yes it has updated. I just had a random free veg item when I checked my offers this morning. I hadn’t spent anything this month until today.

Oh that's interesting. Hope that means we will still get freebies sometimes then.

Morning all, happy Friday.
The young cat was indoors overnight and I can’t believe she peed on the taken up flooring 😞So she’s definitely the culprit as the old cat was out all night. I was hoping to attempt to re-lay the flooring today but now need to clean it thoroughly again. The enzyme remover spray hasn’t really worked but I’ve read a 50-50 ratio of white vinegar and cold water is effective so will try that.
When Mr SA has his siesta I’m going to make a start on getting rid of rubbish from the shed. Even if I only do a bit it’s a start and will be less daunting than tackling it in one go.
Another job on today’s list is to tidy the patio as it’s looking a bit of a mess. I received the replacement jet washer a couple of weeks ago so will give that a try.I’ve stripped the bedding and that’s in the wash so need to put fresh on and clean the bedroom. I do wish Mr SA wouldn’t open his wardrobe with the mirrored door - fingerprints everywhere 😠I also need to sort out his bedside cabinet as the top is covered in stuff that he keeps knocking over in the night. I’ve asked him time and time again to clear it but he never does.
Exercise will be dog walking later and a live Zumba class this afternoon that I don’t often get chance to do because of working. I’ve also got some WW live virtuals to listen to on the app for inspiration while I’m doing my bits and bobs.Tonight’s dinner is a smoked haddock fish cake from freezer stocks with sweet potato wedges and steamed veg.
How do I ever find time to go to work!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I often wonder that SA. You have so much to do at home, I don't know how you have time to work. Just make sure when you retire, that you keep time aside for yourself & don't fill it with extra chores.

Hopefully a year from now you won’t be going to work.

All our cats have hated Olbas Oil. Maybe a little dab of that where your cat is peeing. The only cat we've had who occasionally peed indoors used to suffer with cystitis but I know it can be territorial too.
2026's challenges: 1) To rebuild our Emergency Fund to at least £5k.
2) To read 50 books (12/50) 3) The Re-Shrinking of Foxgloves 8.1kg/30kg
Remember....if you have to put it on a credit card, extend your overdraft or take out a loan to buy whatever it is, you probably can't afford it, as that's not your money, it's somebody else's!3 -
I tried that already. The vinegar/water mix seems to have worked.

I think it’s a territorial thing with her but will mention it to the vet next time I’m there. I’ll try olbas oil as a deterrent once the flooring is back down, thanks for the tip.
