And that’s me back on the sofa with a dog on one side and a cat on the other.
The flight back was really smooth and we landed 30 minutes earlier than expected. The taxi driver on the way home was super helpful and even put the cases inside the house. We’ve recently changed the firm we use and these are so much better than the previous ones.
There was a brilliant offer on the flight 4 litres of spirits for £42. I hesitated as I already had 4 litres of pink gin but realised you could have 4 litres each so decided it was too good to miss. It’s fair to say I won’t need to buy gin for the foreseeable future 🤣Absolutely shattered so will be off to bed soon.
So glad I booked the rest of the week off work so I can ease myself back into reality.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪8 -
Welcome home! Glad the journey all went well. 😊 Where are you going to hide the gin and spirits?

Forgot to say both airports were empty again and we whizzed through both sides. Thanks to Mr SA we are fast tracked but it wouldn’t have made that much difference to be honest.

Morning all.
I was super busy yesterday trying to get as much washing done as possible and also trying to tidy the garden a bit ready for the tree surgery today. Gutted I can’t hang any washing out today, still got loads to do.
Mr SA has been no help whatsoever and has just sat around watching TV or sleeping.
The tree surgeon is here and has started on removing the conifers at the bottom of the garden before moving onto the big tree.
I had to have another Mr M delivery this morning for the things I’d forgotten on yesterday’s order. Good job I have a delivery pass.
Checked finances, cleared the cc balance and sent savings to various pots. One of the 6 months savers has matured, have opened a new one and the balance plus interest has hit the current account. This was originally earmarked to buy premium bonds but might swap it to a house pot as we really need a new shed sooner rather than later.
I need to give the house a good clean today, we can’t go anywhere and DD is at work so it’s a good opportunity.
Back to my morning yoga earlier and it’s Zumba tonight. Trying to get back into my normal routine now.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪6 -
The trees are done 🥳 The garden looks so much better. Mr SA asked him if he knew anyone to take down/remove/assemble sheds and turns out he does so I have a number to contact. It would be good to get that done next. I didn’t think it would get done so quickly but then there were three of them.
Washing back out on the line now.
Still need to clean up as I couldn’t get it done earlier as they kept knocking on the door to check things.
Mr SA sneaked the heating back on so turned it back off. Then he did something to the TV and the only channel we had was BBC Scotland 😮Another thing I had to sort. He’s having his siesta now so maybe I’ll get something done.
