Afternoon all. It’s been and still is a hot and sunny day here.
Mr SA is now on a necklace pester and is driving me nuts! Reminded him he had a new necklace recently but his response was he wants one from here.
Last night after our evening meal out we tried the hotel bar and it was surprisingly really nice and reasonably priced for a hotel bar.
We had a lovely lunch out at a bar playing reggae music and in the sun it felt like being in the Caribbean.
We seem to have adopted a pigeon who is eating out of my hand. That’s a sure sign of missing our pets 😆
The pets are doing fine with DD but the dog is missing us. We miss her too and we’re looking forward to seeing her again.
Payday today but no money shuffling as I don’t like logging on to the bank overseas unless urgent.
Had to smile as looked to see what Lid! coupons I had this week and the app asked if I wanted to see my Canary Islands offers 🤣Anyway attaching a couple of pictures from our walk this morning. I don’t take loads of photos as we visit here every year.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪10 -

Oh my goodness that looks gorgeous
I think you should start keeping a list of all Mr SA's pesters then pester him for the equivalents. If he wants a necklace from Canaries (maybe try lid! 😁) then you want a necklace from Tiffanees

Today has been very hot. Had a walk down to the old town and harbour then a late lunch at a different restaurant which was lovely. Mr SA is driving me mad as he wants chips with everything!
After lunch we came back to the hotel. Mr SA had his siesta while I sat reading in the sun.
Phoned DD and all is well back home.
Another couple of photos of the old town harbour.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪10 -
