There is a very good reason people put that R in their name. There is usually someone on the pension forum with a problem with them. It defies common sense that anyone new could actually change any process to them.

My friend has just retired without her lump sum and has no idea when she’ll get her pension. She’s not state pension age yet so she’s got nothing coming in at the moment. Fortunately her husband is still working. I know of colleagues who’ve had to defer their retirement because of them 🤬
