Isn’t it strange we used the same company but had different experiences? I suppose it’s a case of all is fine until you have an issue. I hope it gets resolved soon.

I hope Mr SA gets a good response from the IBD team. Happy new shed!

DH gets yearly calls from the IBD team for his Colitis. They seem to be very good in this area. He had a lovely consultant, but hasn't seen him for a few years now as he is deemed to be ok, and just continues to take the medication and get a yearly blood test, with colonoscopy every 10 years. He also has contact details so he can get in touch with them in an emergency. Hopefully Mr SA's team will be as good.

Happy Saturday 🥂
Today has completely revolved around the shed. The shelving unit arrived first thing so after we’d taken the dog on the park I put them together. It took a while to get the hang of it but once I did I got them up pretty quickly. I’m quite pleased with myself as I’m not the best at DIY. I must admit when I first opened the box and saw all the pieces and the scant instructions I felt like crying. I had to sit and go through the instructions, sort out the pieces and really think about it. Anyway I did it 🥳
After lunch I started putting things back in the shed and the shelving has helped enormously in keeping everything tidy. It’s got 5 shelves so I’ve got gardening stuff on one, decorating stuff on another, tools on another and so on.
Battled with Mr SA and the broken tools. He was watching me like a hawk so when he took the dog out on his scooter later I quickly grabbed a bin bag and filled it with junk. There’s just the broken drills to take to electrical recycling now.
Had to manhandle a very long heavy roofing crawler ladder down the side of the shed as this is another thing Mr SA won’t part with. I tripped over it at one point but managed to steady myself before I completely fell.
DD was panicking because no one could remember seeing the young cat since yesterday. We were shouting her name in the garden but she didn’t appear. DD was just about to go out looking for her when I thought to check under the cover of my hanging chair and thankfully there she was curled up fast asleep. Phew!
Today’s exercise has been dog walking and shed/garden sorting. That’s clocked up almost 13,000 steps.
Tonight’s dinner is veggie burger with sweet potato wedges, salad and Prosecco 🥂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Sounds like you will be ready for your prosecco tonight, its amazing how many steps we can do just in the garden. Well done on the shelves, I am rubbish at stuff like that. I can't wait for my little shed to be finished and get it all set up inside. This is just for my gardening stuff only, as DH has his own large metal shed. Looks like the weather will improve soon as well, which will be great for getting out in the garden.

Well done on the DIY!

I’m really pleased with the shelving unit to say it was only £26.99 from Am@zon, it seems quite sturdy. Once it was assembled it was fairly heavy. I liked how you could have one tall unit (6ft) like I did or two smaller ones. It had great reviews which is why I chose it. I had to get on a stepladder to finish the top bit as I’m only 5’1 😆

Watching Eurovision and the male Austrian presenter looks like he’s from a sleazy 70s movie 🤣 I’m thinking those Joan Collins ones was it The $tud and The B!tch 🤣

Great job on the shelving. That must have been daunting, so you can add shelf-assembly to your CV, and hang up a picture of Rosie the Riveter as a reminder that you are a Very Capable Woman. ☺️ Regardless of Mr SA's views on you using DIY equipment.
