Happy Friday 🎉
Despite this being my first week back at work after 2 weeks leave it's flown by!
Worked in the office until late morning, WFH this afternoon.
Stopped off at Lid! on the way home, picked up the free nuts (walnuts).
The shed man will be finished today, he couldn't quite get finished last night. He was here until 9pm! He's only got the doors left to put on so hopefully won't take him long. He's done a brilliant job. I'm really pleased with the shed it seems to be really good quality.
I've ordered a set of storage shelves for the shed as I want it to be tidy, not with stuff all over like the old one.
I got my offer for the box of assorted junk last night. It was what I was expecting to be honest - £22. I've accepted it as I don't want anything back and they said the things of no/little value will be recycled rather than go to landfill (or clutter up a cupboard/drawer in my case).
I've done a quick end of the week finance check and sent an oddment of £6.32 to the Christmas pot.
Today's exercise has been walking to/from work plus a live Zumba session this afternoon and a live strength training session tonight.
Tonight's dinner is Chilli Tahini Noodles from the Deliciously Ella app.

Glad your shed is almost finished. The window panes finally arrived for mine, but still no fixing packs to actually fix them to the shed. Waiting for a reply from the company now, as this has been going on way too long now and they quite clearly don't seem to know what they are doing.

I’ve gone for one without windows this time because Mr SA just blocked it off with a towel on the old one so couldn’t see the point. I’m really pleased with ours it was from Forest Garden, never used them before but they’ve been great.

That's who I've used. They were great at the start, lots of communication as to when it was being delivered etc and the chap who delivered was great. But soon as I rang them to say they had sent 2 solid sides instead of 1 solid and 1 with windows, it all went down hill after that. I've had to ring back 3 times so far and we still haven't got all the parts.

The shed is done 🥳 He’s going on holiday tomorrow but is going to come back to put a slab in front of the door and a gutter on it. He’s also going to do a bit of chopping back of bushes where they’ve got too high for me to tackle.
Plan for tomorrow is to start getting stuff moved back in. The shelving unit arrives tomorrow so I need to put that up.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -

Oh my days - just catching up with the diaries and really felt for you with this post. Your pyjama time and wine both under threat in the same day. I think you enjoy the same little pleasures as I do, and they’re worth protecting.

Mr SA has finally heard from the IBD team and has a telephone consultation on Monday almost a year after the referral by the GP. I’ve told him to be truthful about how bad the situation is and reminded him to tell them about the theatre having to close their toilets because of his flare up as this was the worst case scenario. Hopefully this will lead to him finally getting some treatment 🤞

I forgot to say the decoy wine bottle is now in place. A delicious concoction of blackcurrant squash and vinegar 😈
