I had an attack of the Sunday scaries earlier 😞 Then reminded myself only 2 more weeks until holiday and this time next year Sunday scaries will be a thing of the past.
Got loads of cleaning done today, managed to do most of the house. The weather has been one minute sunny the next heavy rain so definitely an indoors day.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪7 -

Your story of the priest on the roundabout reminded me of our Vicar, many years ago, trying out one of the children's scooters and sailing down an empty aisle in the church, past Norman arches and 18th century graffiti with white robes billowing around him and a beatific smile on his face.
That cat caravan is lovely!
Sorry to hear about the Sunday scaries, but how nice to know they will soon be behind you.

Afternoon all, happy Monday.
I really didn't want to get up for work this morning. The Sunday Scaries had turned into the Monday Blues. I ended up catching the bus as I was running 30 minutes late despite getting up at 5am. Not that I can be late for work as I'm on flexi time but I like to get there by 7.30 at the latest. Worked in the office until late morning then came home.
Mr SA met me at Lid! to take the shopping from me. They had loads of really good fruit/veg boxes but I had to avert my eyes as I've got loads of veg to use up.
In good money news I got £915.35 paid into my bank from the gold sale. Really pleased with that. Quick payment too as it was only post Friday afternoon. Taking away the £12.95 special delivery fee that leaves £902.40. The £2.40 oddment went to the Christmas pot. The £900 will go to my retirement pot.
The £100 PB prize money and £25 survey money from OP had also hit the bank.
Monday finance check done and cc balance cleared. An oddment of 49p went to the Christmas pot.
Ordered the dog's meds so another £62.10 came out of the vet pot on top of the £61.50 that came out on Saturday for the vet visit and prescription. So £123.60 transferred from sinking funds to the current account.
Exercise - despite catching the bus this morning I've done 13,111 steps so far as I walked home. Doing a live Zumba class tonight so that will add some more.
Tonight's dinner is Bang Bang Salmon with stir fried veg and noodles.
I must remember to move Mr SA's old chair to the end of the drive as it's being collected tomorrow.
Tree surgeon should be coming to look at the tree tonight.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪9 -
Wow, a thousand extra to hit the bank! Very impressed!

That’s a fantastic amount to receive for the gold, and put to good use immediately too!
