Crumbs, he's got it down to a fine art, hasn't he? If I were you I'd be tempted to meet my Scottish colleagues in a pub local to them and not tell anyone south of the border where I'd gone.

And there’s more…
Almost forgot my day started with the old cat being sick in our bedroom at 3.30am. Followed by the discovery of a cat 💩 behind one of the storage boxes I’m sorting out in the dining room.
So the day started as it meant to go on basically.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪3 -
Jeexz. That’s just all beyond dire.

Oh I wish I lived nearer. I would have happily met you in a pub yesterday - hope the weekend is less stressful!

Oh bless you ❤️ When I was in my old team if anyone had a tough day someone used to say anyone up for the pub and invariably there’d be several random people tagging along 😆

A productive Saturday has been had. The dog had a vet appointment at 2.30 so spent the morning sorting out the summer/holiday clothes.
I can’t believe how much summer stuff I’ve got. I was quite ruthless and filled two bags for the charity shop. Anything I thought not that old thing coming out again went in the charity bag.Sorted out Mr SA’s shorts. Still need to do his wardrobe 😞
Identified a few things I might take on holiday and put them in my case to be decided later. Everything else went back in the storage bags on the top shelf of the wardrobes for now.
Took the dog on the park and did a massive litter pick. Seems like the local kids are into Iron Bru at the moment as there were lots of empty cans 😐
Set off for the vets after lunch. The dog had a clean bill of health and has lost a kilo so far. She still needs to lose a couple more. The consultation and prescription for the arthritis meds was £60, still need to buy the meds.
Mr SA got his coffee and sausage roll from Gr£ggs despite only just having had his lunch 😐 He just associates it with visiting this retail park. At least it keeps him occupied while I shop.
Bought the cats a pop up caravan from Pets at 🏠 Whether they’ll go in it in another matter 🤣Spent £111 in BnM 😱 I shouldn’t be allowed in this shop 😂However got loads of bits I wanted so not complaining. All will come out of the house/garden pot.
Popped into the Lid! by the retail park for a few bits spent just over £6. No lip balms for Mr SA in this store either 😞I was shattered by the time we got home. Although it was sunny it was very windy and walking up that hill in the wind felt like the challenge at the end of I’m a Celebrity. 23,064 steps done. Was very glad to get in the bath afterwards.
Tonight’s dinner was veggie koftas (freezer stocks) with home made skin on fries (potato bag stocks) with Greek flatbread (freezer), salad and peppers from Lid! Greek week jar. Mr SA had the lamb kebabs from Lid! with his plus a bottle of Mythos. I have Rose Prosecco 🥂 Not very Greek but I don’t drink beer and definitely not Ouzo as had a very unfortunate experience with Pernod years ago so anything aniseed flavoured is a definite no 🤮

I love Pernod but haven’t had any in years…..you’ve got me fancying one now 😜
Mr SA is definitely on a roll atm by the sounds of it. Well done you 👏👏👏 must be hard to live with.

I used to happily drink Pernod and blackcurrant until some 🤬spiked my drink. Never touched it since. I was so poorly 🤮

B&M is dangerous shopping ground. I had a very similar sweep at Home B’s yesterday. Everything we bought will be used but oh my goodness how does it happen?!

I kept looking at the lobster themed bits, they were gorgeous but thought where would I put them? So I didn’t buy them.
