The patio was a genuinely laugh out loud moment here. Hope you get the jet washer fixed (I changed the end of our hose yesterday to an all-singing, all-dancing one bought in T3sco sales last year, so I am feeling accomplished. I can water the plants without washing them away!)

Would the jet wash strip paint off the scooter? I made the mistake of using similar on our old shed and it carved patterns in the 'patina' of 80 years so then I had to do a detailed clean which of course took rather longer.

It wouldn't strip the paint from the scooter as it has different strength settings so you can use a gentle one.

I have been experimenting with Block sender for family members on my phone for limited periods, especially in the evening. I wonder if it would help you to start retraining Mr SA especially while you are at work or in an important meeting. Just an idea, no offence meant :) I really don't know how you don't already have a huge new (bumpy) patio!

I never know if it’s an emergency so I can’t block his number or switch my phone off just in case. If he rings when I’m in a meeting I decline his call then ring back when I’m free. He knows this is a sign I’m unavailable so if he rings straight back I know it’s an emergency.
