Morning all.
WFH again today. I was planning to go into the office as I need to do an extra day to make up my 60% but have moved that to next week now, so I'll have to do 4 office days.
I'll let you know when the patio party is @beanielou @Baileys_Babe 😂If he continues to hassle me today it could be soon!
I didn't get up until 6am this morning so only a short pre-work relaxation time. Started a new book as I finished my last one yesterday.
Moved the emergency fund into the new ISA so another job ticked off the list. Also got another area of the garden tidied and weeded. The plan is to keep chipping away bit by bit. The garden waste bin is being collected today so can start to fill it back up again.
Yesterday was also a NSD.
Today's exercise plan is a short yoga session this morning, dog walking later this morning, a live lunchtime strength training session and a live aerobics session tonight.
Household/garden tasks are clean the living room and tidy/sweep the patio.
I need to find a mailing bag to send off the gold, I've definitely got some somewhere. I weighed in the extra I recently found so have started off a fresh sale. I plan to post it off tomorrow on my way home from work.
Also need to phone customer services about the hand held jet washer as I couldn't get any water to come out of it yesterday which was a pain as I was trying to clean the recycling bin. I sort of managed it in the end with a bucket of soapy hot water and a brush but it would look a lot better jet washed. Mr SA had the cheek to ask me to clean his scooter afterwards! I didn't by the way.
Tonight's dinner is using up a home made bean burger that's been in the freezer for ages with a flatbread, wedges and salad.
I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪7 -
The patio was a genuinely laugh out loud moment here. Hope you get the jet washer fixed (I changed the end of our hose yesterday to an all-singing, all-dancing one bought in T3sco sales last year, so I am feeling accomplished. I can water the plants without washing them away!)
Would the jet wash strip paint off the scooter? I made the mistake of using similar on our old shed and it carved patterns in the 'patina' of 80 years so then I had to do a detailed clean which of course took rather longer.

2024: Trainers 5, dress 7, slippers 5, 2 prs socks (gift) 2, 3 prs white socks 3, t-shirts x 2 10, 6 prs socks: mostly gifts 6, duvet set 7.5 = 45.5/68 coupons
20.5 coupons used in 2020. 62.5 used in 2021. 94.5 remaining as of 21/3/221 -
It wouldn't strip the paint from the scooter as it has different strength settings so you can use a gentle one.

Well the patio tidy/sweep is off the to do list as it's just started to rain after being dry all day. Managed to grab the washing in just before it started.
A parcel arrived for DD and I went to the door to pick it up. Straight away Mr SA said is that one of my birthday presents.
I've managed to keep out of his way for most of the day as I've been in my home office and he's been out with the dog 3 times. Thankfully I'm in the office tomorrow, although that doesn't stop him phoning me several times asking what time I'm coming home.
I’ve heard back from the railcard customer services and they can renew it for me using the Clubcard vouchers if I provide details.
I’ve located a mailing bag for the gold so that’s going tomorrow.
I’ve also received a postage label from Vintage 💴 🐮 so just need to get the stuff I want to get rid of together and find a suitable box. I doubt I’ll get that much but it’s unwanted things just stuffed in drawers at the moment so cash for clutter basically.Today has been another NSD.

I have been experimenting with Block sender for family members on my phone for limited periods, especially in the evening. I wonder if it would help you to start retraining Mr SA especially while you are at work or in an important meeting. Just an idea, no offence meant :) I really don't know how you don't already have a huge new (bumpy) patio!

I never know if it’s an emergency so I can’t block his number or switch my phone off just in case. If he rings when I’m in a meeting I decline his call then ring back when I’m free. He knows this is a sign I’m unavailable so if he rings straight back I know it’s an emergency.

I’d like to say happy Friday but today has been very stressful thanks to Mr SA 😩
Worked in the office today. Several phone calls from Mr SA including one reminding me not to forget to buy him some lip balms for holiday.
Another to tell me the last couple of slices of bread in one pack were mouldy. Told him to throw it away and use the new loaf 😐
Had to phone the chemists for him as he’s been out of medication for two days. It was ordered last week but realise we’ve had 2 bank holidays. Initially they couldn’t find it then they could. He usually has it delivered but I said he’d come to pick it up in case he was out when it arrived. Said they’d put it to one side for him.
Next phone call from Mr SA at the chemist and they can’t find his medication. Long story short Mr SA told them the prescription was for one thing when it was actually for three. Several phone calls to chemists and Mr SA later they had tried to deliver the medication but no one in despite me saying he’d pick it up!! Eventually he got the meds but what a palaver. In the meantime I was having a very busy day at work and being bombarded with several random questions from people coming from a variety of Teams messages, emails and phone calls.
At this point if I actually worked with anyone I would’ve said let’s go to the pub. Unfortunately my team are all in Scotland so that’s not going to happen.Finished just after lunchtime as I had a few things to do in the city centre.
Anyway…
The gold has finally been sent off special delivery ✔️
Picked up the free W@it rose paper and free Mr T food magazine.
Dropped off some empty meds packs at B00ts.
Stopped off at Lid! and got a brilliant £2 fruit/veg box. Mostly fruit which was good as running low.
Today’s exercise has been 21,903 steps. Tempted to get that to 22,000 🤣Tonight’s dinner was smoked haddock fish cake from freezer stocks with parsnip and swede chips and steamed veg.
Oh and DGD has just sent me a message to say can I get her an electric guitar for her birthday. DGS wants some Japanese books but in English for his birthday, they are back to front which does my head in but he loves them. They don’t want much do they 🤣
My head is spinning with it all, what a day!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping) -.literally have been run over by a bike, mobility scooter and a car - still here 💪6
