Well I was planning to watch the film Mrs Harris goes to Paris on Prime this afternoon, which is apparently an uplifting film, but you have to rent or buy at the moment. I don’t mind waiting until it’s included for free so watched Mayflies on iPlayer which was absolutely brilliant but very very sad, so instead of being uplifted I now feel sad 😢
Anyway, off to have a nice soak in the bath with a face pack shortly after which I will be watching a live cook along on my WW app.I’m using up a portion of the mushroom nut roast I made on Christmas Day tonight with roast parsnip, swede and butternut squash plus mangetout and carrots. That is the last of the parsnips thank goodness 🥳🥂
I made a batch of chipotle butternut squash soup for work lunches which is a new recipe I found on the WW app. It’s very nice indeed, will definitely make it again.I haven’t noticed the older cat squatting in corners today 🤞 She’s currently in the process of batting the young cat round her head so is sufficiently occupied 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10 -
Hope old cat is on the mend.
Enjoy your bath.4 -
We watched the Mrs Harris film last night. Not sure where DH downloaded it from. Really enjoyed it and yes, it was uplifting and a nice bit of escapism. . The other week we watched a very old film with Robin Williams, called Patch Adams. Found that incredibly uplifting as well, and actually based on a true story.Making the debt go down and savings go up

The cats are having a stand off. The house belongs to the young cat, the older one never usually goes in there. Lots of grumbling and spitting. They are so funny 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)10

If you can find it, the original Mrs 'Arris goes to Paris is lovely - Angela Lansbury, Diana Rigg and Omar Sharif. I've heard that the new one is very nice but I have the original on DVD and personally don't need a do-over.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300
