I think you deserve a 'poo pot' SA. Every time you have a poo incident to clean up, you should transfer a little reward into your pot and use it for personal treats. 

How you keep going like you do, I do not know.

I don’t know how I keep going sometimes but I just do. 

I don’t know why the young cat keeps doing these things. The older one never has. It’s only ever the living room nowhere else. 

We’re waiting for news of DIL, DS said he would message us if she came home but he didn’t so she must’ve been kept in. To be honest she’s better off being kept an eye on. 

It’s pouring with rain and very dark here. I need to go to the big Mr T at some stage. 

Missed my usual Saturday morning ClubFit as I was faffing about with curtains and clearing up. 

We’re going to attempt to put the curtain pole back up later and use some no more nails, or whatever I can get from Mr T, around the fixing area. Mr SA has managed to knock the other side down so we have both sides to put back up. Mr SA used to be fairly ok at DIY but has definitely lost the knack. I could do with a handyman coming here for a couple of hours just to do a few odd jobs that have built up.

Things move fast in here SA! I’m so sorry to hear about your DIL and the curtains. A poo pot is inspired!
one of my cats wees in various corners, there’s no stopping him. I have to line corners with puppy pads 😖 The paint is peeling off one section of skirting board, it’s like wee paint stripper. 

Many, many years ago I bodged rebuilding a wall where a curtain pole had ripped some plasterboard off and left a hole over the window in my kitchen. My plaster kept falling in the hole so I lined it with torn off go cat box, then painted it when it had dried. I sometimes wonder if future home owners ever found the go cat bodge 😅 I was very poor at the time and delighted I could fix it without getting someone in 😁

Oh no…..just rubbish about the curtains and 🙀💩.

Maybe try spraying area with lemon scented products - apparently cats dont like lemon.  However if they are anything like my cat they may just find another spot!

DIL is out of hospital and armed with morphine for the headaches. She’s back Tuesday to see a neurologist. 

I found some no more nails locally so we’ll be attempting the repair process shortly. I might have to consider buying a lighter weight pair of curtains as the ones we have weigh a ton. The pooped on curtain appears to have washed successfully.

im carer for my son who is 13 and has fragile x so I totally get the issues you face…can I have a 💩 pot too? 😁

hooe you get your curtain sorted, we had a leak underneath shower the day kids broke up for Christmas so had a hole in our wet hallway and ripped up Lino to sort 🤦‍♀️

now to start off the new year we have hubby being made redundant so all fun hear….sorry to moan but hope you feel less alone dealing with disasters x

I've only just caught up as somehow I seemed to miss the post about DIL being back in hospital. Do hope she is ok.  At least she was in the best place so they could sort her out. Shows how wonderful our NHS really is, despite all the criticism is keeps getting.  
As for your curtain/poo issues....well, I have no words.    But as others have said, you deal with so much and really do need a medal and a good break.
