Well done on your Feb PAD total.

Sorry about your car news. Hope things aren't as bad as the guestimate.

Oh no 😖 I feel your pain as mine is still off the road for another week until the garage can fit it in. I have been quoted £700 tops, but you can’t really budget until you really know! I remember a lot of car worries when I was little, like would the family car get us to our holiday, having to stop at the side of the road for it to cool down because of traffic jams, etc. That worry has stayed with me for life. You are doing a brilliant thing talking about how you save for things, that’s such useful knowledge for little people 🌟

You've started March positively on the PAD front I see - well done! That February total was great for a short month too - in real terms that effectively beat January didn't it!

Good work on the pension thing too - you've reminded me that I was going to start feeding a bit extra into mine each month - I might start with matching your £30 from any spends account surplus I have, as that seems as good a figure as any. Thanks for the inspiration!
Thank you :)  Good point on the PADs, I hadn't thought of that.

Well done on adding to your pension.  I've just finished your old diary, now need to catch up on your new one.  It is very inspiring, I want to be you when I grow up :D:D
Hey, I don’t even know what I want to do when I grow up, yet! 🤣🤣 I’ve said on here before - I talk a good story, things aren’t half as busy or organised as they sometimes sound though!

However, I have done that pension contribution - so thank you for inspiring me!

I'm the same.  Our cars were always breaking down as a child.  Once a car starts getting unreliable I want to replace it.  DH has spent a fortune on his car this year, so I'm twitchy about being in it now.  He wants to keep it going though.

Keep talking the talk then.    Glad you sorted the pension contribution!  That's what I love about the diaries on here, there is something to take from every single one.  Everyone has something to give, even though we all think our own diaries are really boring!
