Oh no 😖 I feel your pain as mine is still off the road for another week until the garage can fit it in. I have been quoted £700 tops, but you can’t really budget until you really know! I remember a lot of car worries when I was little, like would the family car get us to our holiday, having to stop at the side of the road for it to cool down because of traffic jams, etc. That worry has stayed with me for life. Good work on the pension thing too - you've reminded me that I was going to start feeding a bit extra into mine each month - I might start with matching your £30 from any spends account surplus I have, as that seems as good a figure as any. Thanks for the inspiration!Good point on the PADs, I hadn't thought of that.
Well done on adding to your pension. I've just finished your old diary, now need to catch up on your new one. It is very inspiring, I want to be you when I grow upHowever, I have done that pension contribution - so thank you for inspiring me!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

That's what I love about the diaries on here, there is something to take from every single one. Everyone has something to give, even though we all think our own diaries are really boring!
