Little jwil had his birthday treat with his friends yesterday, he really enjoyed himself. Little miss had a friend along too so they wer both happy.
I've been back painting the bedroom this morning, it's starting to take shape now! It's hard finding the time to do it amongst everything else! We'll need to start looking at carpets soon as I'm determined to finish it once and for all!"Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Glad Little Jwil had a good time
Could your DH do part of the painting?
You could have it finished for Easter.
Have you thought of click laminate for the floor?

Good work on the pension thing too - you've reminded me that I was going to start feeding a bit extra into mine each month - I might start with matching your £30 from any spends account surplus I have, as that seems as good a figure as any. Thanks for the inspiration!Good point on the PADs, I hadn't thought of that.
Well done on adding to your pension. I've just finished your old diary, now need to catch up on your new one. It is very inspiring, I want to be you when I grow upHowever, I have done that pension contribution - so thank you for inspiring me!Glad you sorted the pension contribution! That's what I love about the diaries on here, there is something to take from every single one. Everyone has something to give, even though we all think our own diaries are really boring!

Have you thought of click laminate for the floor? He has been helping. Definitely hoping it will be done by Easter (and it should be!)
I haven't really considered laminate, but I think I'd prefer carpets in the bedrooms. It might be one to consider downstairs though eventually.savingholmes said:It's lovely when the end of a house project is in sight.EssexHebridean said:jwil said:EssexHebridean said:jwil said:EssexHebridean said:You've started March positively on the PAD front I see - well done!
