Thank you all you lovely people 😍

I'm feeling less grumpy today but that might just be because I've finished work for the weekend

DH finally has his car back, so I've got mine back too thankfully.  It does make a difference!  Work has been a bit easier this week as not so many meetings mean I've been able to tick a few things off.

Healthy eating just hasn't been happening.  I feel rubbish for it too.  Not sure if it's partly hormones too, but I'm so bloated, the scales have jumped rather terrifyingly overnight and I have no energy, especially with my knee as well.  I definitely need to get back on track.

I've had my shopping delivered today with a rough plan for meals, so hopefully I can get back on track with lots of fruit and veg.  I'm eating too many hot cross buns, mini eggs and creme eggs, but at least there's a deadline soon after which they won't be available again  :D:D

My plan for this weekend is to finish the gloss work in the small room, then at least that will be done.  I also want to focus on general tidying.  The 'visual noise' with stuff dumped everywhere is overwhelming and definitely affecting my moods.  I filled a black bag with stuff from the kids floor the other day, AFTER they told me they'd cleaned it all up 😡  I told them it's all going in the bin, but I'd actually better sort through it first as there's things like school uniform and shoes in there :D

Dont despair with the eating. You will get back to it and you know you feel better when you are eating properly but it is hard to keep going.

With the kids stuff pull out the essentils and hide the rest if they dont miss it chuck it. Untidiness drives me nuts too and s you know MrLH is very untidy and doesnt know what cupboards and drawers are for.

    PADs are going well.

Calorie counting is helping me, it means weighing up if you want the chocolate more than the real food 🤭 (I mostly do!).  But you won’t be able to do it without being in the right frame of mind. I had some off years when I just couldn’t get into it at all. Much like debt, you will have a food lightbulb moment at some point, so don’t fret and when the time is right it will happen. Cutting down drastically on bread has helped me with bloating.
You are doing so well with the decorating.

You need to be in the zone with healthy eating, it will happen but you need to be patient. Just take it one step at a time 🙂

Thank you.  I've decided I'm going to sort through their stuff myself and decide what's going.  I'll then give them the option of retrieving anything that they really want, but the rest will go.

It's so frustrating isn't it.  Why use a cupboard or drawer when you could just stack on the floor in front of it 😡

    Well done on the PADs.

    Thank you both :)

Thank you :)  You've done so well with calorie counting.  I keep trying to dabble, but it's not really for me I think.  I'm too lazy for starters, and it then encourages me to eat more processed food as I can't be bothered to weigh and measure fresh food.  I think SW principles work for me better, just need to stick to it!

Bread is definitely not good for me, and I think the hot cross buns are responsible for the recent gain.  I only like the fresh bakery ones, not the pre-packed ones, so in a couple of weeks they'll be unavailable again :D

Thank you, you are right, and I'm hoping that Spring and warmer weather will bring some enthusiasm with it again. :)
